Ответитьnice video!
ОтветитьLoved this one! Ready to practise this 💪🏽
ОтветитьOh god I've been wondering HOW TECHNICALLY to do that, as a beginner, moments I managed to do this was pure luck
ОтветитьThanks man, this was really profound and helpful!!
Ответить❤🔥
ОтветитьWhen will a drop mix not work? I've noticed sometimes when I drop mix it feels completely wrong even if I did it at the right time
ОтветитьIve always felt like this technique is like cutting corners to a proper transition. Idk Always didnt feel right abt it, like im not implementing much skill to do this, as dumb as that sounds, so i tend to avoid it.
Like someone mentioned in the comments a better way is to start beat matching on the 16-32 beat mark while having the fader down of the song your going use the drop in. Then switch decks at the right time to hit the drop. Personal preference i guess
really enjoy your videos and guides. Never even heard of the songs your mixing with, i don't know if they are mixes you made or mixes someone else made. I mostly only have some tracks from beat port, I bought about 20 tracks a few house, some trap and few of the favorites.. that I have been working with , but the rest of my library is mostly studio tracks from the albums I have. Really need to get more of the DJ friendly music
ОтветитьI learned a lot from you man good job.
ОтветитьI learned a lot from you man good job.
ОтветитьI like this practice. You a good DJ teacher.💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
ОтветитьThe 3rd drop mix cueing 1 bar early is one of the simplest but best mix techniques I’ve ever picked And I’ve been mixing 20 years. Obviously just 12” back then and a completely different game. Cheers 😎
ОтветитьThanks, that was really useful, just need to practice my timing
ОтветитьThank you Harry Potter :)
ОтветитьOoooooh house music??? I love that song. 😑
ОтветитьJamie can you do a video on serato when you're BPM are doubled and how you would fix it in windows and Mac thanks
Ответитьthis might be the best short course i have ever encountered in me life
Ответитьhow much does the equipment cost?
Ответитьnice tutorial but I hate this kind of music ;)
ОтветитьThis trick matches edm only actually
ОтветитьLmao, I can't even 😂🙈 this is literally a tutorial on pressing play 🙈 smh.
ОтветитьVery nice tutorial.
Ответитьplease talk slowly!!!
ОтветитьThis is so useful, thanks man!
Ответить70 to 140 bpm mixes are seemless if you do them though.
ОтветитьHi Jamie,
Since you are using many DJ controllers, do you use Audio Interface/ Sound Card for mixing and recording?
Thank You.
(It would be nice if you make a tutorial how to Setup a DJ controller with Speaker, Laptop (and Audio Interface maybe)?
I'm usually using XDJ and CDJ and never use DDJ, I hope you can help me out... :(
GREAT EXAMPLES THANK YOU
ОтветитьSuper Sick tutorial...thanks mate 🔥🔥🔥
Ответитьgreat video thank u
ОтветитьHave you ever heard about looping? You can easely loop the 4 bars before the drop and you do not have to worry about the timing.
ОтветитьHello! Thank you very much for the Music Pack! Greetings from Costa Rica!
ОтветитьI've watched so many of these "how to mix" videos, and one tip that I'm not hearing anyone say is KNOW YOUR MUSIC. These new age controllers with laptops make us all lazy because we can "see" the waveform and mix the track without ever hearing the music beforehand. I got my start on vinyl. With records, there is no waveform to tell you where the next break is coming...you just have to know your music and count the beats in your head. There's no beat jumping to save you. I'm not saying you're not a DJ if you don't use vinyl, but I am saying many wannabe DJ's today think they can make a career out of DJ'ing without knowing the music they're mixing because they can "see" the waveform on their laptop. This BS where we "watch" the break coming on the laptop is lazy AF.
ОтветитьGreat video but I am new and get lost on the intros, buildups, breakdowns, outros could you do a video on explaining these for us noobie dj's plz
Ответитьwhat is the two songs names ?
ОтветитьBefore you learn ANYTHING learn how to blend!!

ОтветитьI learned alot from your videos. Keep it up please! :)
