Was the Popcorn Mafia.
ОтветитьProtect her at all costs
ОтветитьI know of a guy who almost fell for this exact same scam. These guys are everywhere.
Ответитьthere are people out that are on a mission to waste as much time as possible so they would "go" to a store and then say that they where out of cards or had none next one too etc. until the scammers give up :D
Ответить"we need you to pay us in amazon gift cards"
yeah no.
闇「この電話を切られちゃうと請求できなくなっちゃうんで...」
me「あっそうなんですか!」ガチャッ
me「20万得したぜ!」
"WHY DID YOU REDEEM IT?! "
ОтветитьIt be hilarious to say “the nearest convenience store is about 3 hours away”
ОтветитьGotta be honest. I've never fallen dor this scam but I'm kinda intrigued about how it works?
Is there a way to reconvert iTunes credits into money or how is it?
Also, good on Miko to, eventually, caughting on while and also having the scammer lose time on the call is a nice bonus
1000 yen per month so its "20000" yen in a year but scammer told her "400k" yen.. thank god she didn't get scam with her elite math..
ОтветитьI know boomers with double phd who fell for this scam, so this is another sign of how truely elite mikochi is.
Ответитьit's kind of hilarious how polite both miko AND the scammer were and that they actually brought the call to an end
"we'd like to scam you"
"no thanks"
"are you sure?"
"yeah"
"ok, goodbye"
"thank you, goodbye"
XD
WHY DID YOU REDEEMED IT?!
ОтветитьYou can't scam elite 😂
Ответитьbruh they aim kids now
ОтветитьIndians don't speak Japanese. How is it possible for her to get those calls in Japan?
ОтветитьShe never even asked what the monthly fee was for
ОтветитьThere has to be a way to track these people down and pay them in person.
Ответить400k yen is like 2-3 months salary and that's a lot
Ответитьi hate the fact she's smarter than me
^scam victim here
Glad she pressed X
ОтветитьScammer made a priceless scam call and he will never know it. Lol
ОтветитьIt never occurred to me that this run of the mill scam happens over at the JP side as well. Glad Miko didn't fall for it.
ОтветитьIndians learn japanese just to scam? Now thats dedication
ОтветитьI nver knew this apple card scam would be in jpn aswell
ОтветитьMiko might be baby and pon, but she is still an ELITE. You can't fool her.
Ответитьstandard phone scam involving buying gift cards
ОтветитьDO NOT RIDIIMMMMM
ОтветитьThis is truly worrying that it took her so long to figure out its a scam. She didn't even ask for what the fee would had been.
She really needs a caretaker.
Marine got hit with this same scam a while ago. Except they actually got her walking to the store to buy the card before her manager stopped her. 😭
ОтветитьTruly an elite level of deduction
ОтветитьGeez! Now Indian scammers are scamming people in Japan.
Ответитьoh so she's baby Jim browning. xD
ОтветитьGood thing this is not like in Brazil
Ответитьme when contacted by scammers: lol just ky$ @$#%@@#$ ends call
Elite Miko: ah thank you. It's ok.
This is why I am not Elite like her...
damn indians
ОтветитьThe japanese scammer is quite cute if you compare it to the indian scammer.
Ответитьmiko's amazing.
ОтветитьELITE!
Believe it or not, there’s people who fall for those things. Mikochi did good in sus and research about it!
Naw if I hear apple card I hang up right away 😂
ОтветитьOh my god these FAQ's need to be thrown into the ocean I swear to god, I almost fell for the same type of scam with a "discount contract" for my ISP until they brought up the gift cards.
Ответитьist it just me or are these animations getting more "fuwa" then usual? they feeld so fluffy m8
ОтветитьHappy New Years Mochimiko. Thank You for all your generous animations this year. They are truly cute and beautiful and I'm so happy I can watch them.
ОтветитьOh yeah I remeber one time o got a call "hello-hey brother hello can you hear me? yes - omg thank god hey i was going home and my car stop working can you send me some money?-sure brother ill send it but theres one small detail what is it Bro?-I dont have any brothers im a single Child" the person calling hang up in a flash xD
I love that they claimed that the monthly fee was 1k but the total was 400k. As if she'd been forgetting to pay a fee for a third of a century. Miko may be silly but she's not silly enough to believe THAT.
ОтветитьWow. Miko finally got those scam calls? I've been getting them for years. Glad she didn't fall for it.
ОтветитьIf a bill collector ever asked for a gift card, I would laugh out loud at him. I think gift cards only exist for scams at this point. Shops that still sell them should be required to ask why you’re buying it. If it’s for anything other than a gift, they should explain the scam and refuse the sale.
Ответить1st animation in the new year, and it's about Sakura Miko nearly get scammed XD
Never thought Japan too have this kind of scam, thought only in my country :3
Don't worry Miko. I've seen worse. Irys downloaded more Ram.
