Yes I had pins in my left index finger because I had a compound fracture and it took two months to heal and my finger is still crooked and it took 22 stitches but that was a long time ago!!!

Yeah, I had one of those pins in my elbow when I was six years old, they called it a K wire here in the UK. The worst part for me was that no one told me it was there, I did have an operation but it was never explained to me what would happen. So the first thing I knew about the wire was when the cast was removed and I saw this piece of metal sticking out my arm. Then the doctor walks in with a big pair of pliers telling me he was here to take my wire out, but I didn't feel anything when it was taken out either.

All my windows pc's died in a couple of years after purchase, my macbook, and imac stil works very fast, no viruses, no problems, even with windows on it :)
