There's no better feeling than doing the work yourself. A lot of people these days rather pay somebody to do the work. I always enjoyed working on my car and then heading to the track.
You really did a good job. Don't worry about the little things the most important part is that it started and there no bad noises. All the other stuff takes a little bit of extra time to get everything just right.

Cannot wait until you make your first pass. Lucky you live in Florida up north here most tracks start closing at the end of October and depending on the winter we don't get to go back until end of March 1st of April.

I hope you keep us all updated on your progress I really enjoyed your video.

I have the same rockers and AFR heads as you what valve covers did you go with ? I see they sell tall VC but Supposely the tall ones are for carb setup

If that engine is all stock under the heads and intake then R.I.P. to your stock rotating assembly, won't be long before you shoot a rod threw the block or oil pan
