Chick-fil-A in Miami-Dade makes it to Dirty Dining

It'll be messed up if Pizza Hut in Marianna FL gets a suprise visit b/c the minute I visited that restaurant there were live roaches running near their closed dinning area. I suspect with the stinch there are also sanitary issues so my family and I left asap.

I went to college on the Gulf coast & roaches, bugs, mosquitoes, roaches, frogs, lizards, roaches...did I mention THREE (count 'em-THREE) different sized roaches live down there. You have a typical German coach roach like you see in an insecticide commercial, then you have one about twice as big (he's usually black), THEN you have the godfather, prehistoric roach; the Palmetto bug! This sucker FLIES! Every apartment got sprayed by outside businesses about once a month. Regardless of how clean you are, you'll see them. Even if they come from the house, apartment or business next door!

While this has nothing to do with Miami, a couple months ago, my Mother and I were on a road trip in Tennessee. We stopped at a Chick-fil-A. I had went in to get her food. She wanted a normal chicken sandwich and water. As she was driving while eating, not even after the first two bites, I kid you not, she started throwing up. I felt so terrible for her and was helping her. For something to not agree so quickly like THAT, you know there had to be something dirty going on behind the scenes of the kitchen…

if you go out to eat in Miami, this is no surprise.

I went to a CFA a few days ago for breakfast, I witnessed an employee walk outside blow his nose, went right back inside the store and handed me my order without washing his hands, I told him to keep it and that he should have washed his hands after blowing his nose. I called to get a refund when I got home and he'd already told his manager what happened and was honest about it. The guy made a mistake and while he should be disciplined, the fact that he owned up to it will insure he never makes that mistake again. In today's world not washing your hands in a food establishments can kill someone.

It’s not the restaurant that’s dirty, it’s the nasty people that run the poor restaurant that are dirty. Especially the ones that don’t wanna talk on camera. They are the lowest of the low.

Anyone who works in those types of conditions is just nasty

Don't get your shorts in a bundle. It's the management that is required to keep the restaurant clean!!! My sister managed a Wendy's in Ashville North Carolina for years and never got one violation! I was in the military and worked in the kitchen and we scrubbed every corner.

I'd be interested to see a follow up story after the first one aired, to see how much customer support they lost. I live in a fairly small population centre, when a local eatery had some serious issues, word got around fast. Wasn't long before they closed permanently.

I was a driver for these owners at the Lakes Mall in PP. When they transferred to this location I did not go with them. The kitchen was filthy and standing water on the floor. Bugs everywhere I don’t understand why they weren’t closed down then.

this is why usa and other countries work and are respected, they check out these resturant and it's sad its allot of foren peoples restaurant 😢 come on guys clean up sort it out.

im from small town Ga. Never did this happen, Service with a smile in immaculate restaurant, aventura and 163rd st, just disgusting, and bad attitude by staff, Would not last the day in Lawrencevville ga. So very different

The one thing in these restaurants you're forced to do if you can go walk into the restaurant, it's definitely check the restrooms if the bathrooms are not clean and they got a lot of stuff, and they're gonna make a smell good. Don't eat there and if you can't get into the restaurant and you can't see for yourself. That's not a restaurant I was going to in the first place as well. You can do as drives through, and this also matters. With coffee houses, anything if you see those coffee pops brown enough clear and sparkling confessors like glass don't drink that coffee.😊
