I loved this conversation!
ОтветитьI'm a big fan of Esther Perel and have taken in a lot of content, both her being interviewed and her own content and I really got a lot out of this one. It felt like she was being a bit more vulnerable and that the two of you were in partnership to surface the takeaways. This is the first time I've encountered this podcast, and have now subscribed. Great work by both of you.
ОтветитьOMG!! Thank you so much for an amazing channel and the wisdom of Esther Perel with this episode 🙏🏻
ОтветитьLovely conversation thank you
Ответить@esther perel - how come, in the last 3 months, in none of your videos or interviews or LinkedIn posts - did you clearly talk about the horrors women, children and men experienced on October 7th? You - who talked extensively about your parents suffering in the holocaust - not a word about the 2023 version of the holocaust? Especially the brutality towards women. It’s all documented and yet the women’s organizations are refusing to condemn. You are a huge influencer- and you have so much impact. So disappointing 😢
ОтветитьShe is paralyzed by botox
ОтветитьLove this conversation. So real and authentic. You both rock. Thank you. 🙏
ОтветитьLove You💯🩷😃 Esther
ОтветитьSo awesome of Esther to share her personal life briefly, in getting an idea on how she functions in her life.
Great interview Dan and Esther
Thank you, Esther and Dan!
WOW, this was so powerful.
Our world needs to hear more of this. ❤
regarding 911. I was a deep tissue massage therapist then. Generally the discomfort voiced by my clients was 50% shoulders 50% low back prior to then, Afterwards, for a long time the %'s changed to much higher in shoulders. I contributed to that 911 effected their heart/emotions. That they were so overwhelmed and powerless.
ОтветитьInteresting way of putting it, being taken “hostage” by a particular situation. Obsessiveness is a life force suck …
ОтветитьAmazing as always. And I loved how she said, she was on roll ❤ That shows that the interviewer was excellent
ОтветитьShe is so wonderful. I would love to be a guest on his podcast. My memoir, From Sun to Sun: A Hospice Nurse Reflects on the Art of Dying may be helpful to many people.
ОтветитьI would like to point out that although the world (our little worlds- if you will - are/is 'safer' today than in the past....)
We dont perceive it that way at all.
In our 'yesterdays'
(perhaps as kids growing up) our news media was not necessarily global, as it is today, OR as focused on attention grabbing headlines, i.e., the BAD [sometimes horrifying] news we are exposed to today.
And, especially with SM platforms as it is today, and which we did not have in those days, because, well...social media did not exist back then. So we also were not getting all the horrible and attacking sort of data input we are exposed to today.
Horrible interactions went on in our yesterdays - growing up - but we were basically unaware of it.
So... while the 'world' may have been a much more unsafe place 'yesterday' than in today's world, WE DID NOT KNOW THAT(!) at the time.
We perceive the world as
vastly more dangerous today than in the past because we are now PRIVY to all the horrible actions happening globally and even locally now, more than ever.
JMO.
Dan, I love the visual! Thank you for all you do!❤
ОтветитьSo glad I listened, my dog just died at the vet, so I can so relate. My heart is broken and I immediately phone my one best friend.
ОтветитьI really like Ms. Perel. She is a dynamic speaker, and brings an energy that is wholesome, and lively... Thank you.
ОтветитьThis was really good thank you Esther Peral and Dan Harris! What an inspirational disscussion! This Podcast was very insightful.

Where is the conflict course?
This was such an insightful interview. So deep and meaningful. Has made me pause to review my life and methods of communicating.Thank you so much.
ОтветитьAs a fellow therapist, hearing Esther’s inner world and thoughts are so relatable and helpful…great questions and interview…thank you…🙏🏽
ОтветитьHaving to make too many decisions equals anxiety, and work and tech are the main culprits.
ОтветитьGood interview Dan!
One note - yoga CLASSES involve other people, but yoga PRACTICE can be done at home. And just like with meditation, even if you practice in a group, having a regular home practice is also important.
The gift of being present~
ОтветитьDear Dan, many years ago on a railway station, just before I have got the train, I bought your book 10% happier. My life gained a different dimension with your book and I want to thank you for that. Thanks for inviting Esther as well, brilliant.
ОтветитьThank you. With a video it's much better)
ОтветитьWhat a brilliant and warmth giving conversation
ОтветитьShe's a real gem 😊
