Forget the Rolex Oyster Perpetual, get this Nomos instead...

A screw down crown has advantages other than securing a moisture seal. Its structure takes stress off of the stem, a part that I’ve bent on some of my beater watches, just from the way the crown would press against the back of my hand. I get that Nomos graphically has a minimalist design godliness, but I think that a watch without a date complication would make it a better candidate for a screw down crown. The disadvantage is that for the less mechanically inclined, the possibility of cross threading the crown and damaging it increases every time they adjust the time(or date).

I would love to buy the Nomos, but two things bother me: 1. the watch could be a bit smaller (36mm) and 2. I would love to see the watch with a black dial. I don’t understand why Nomos don’t sell this watch with a black dial in the smaller size

Than better not order it with the bracelet and buy yourself one that fits it

I really really like this watch, and I love what Nomos do. However the bracelet is where I struggle, I like the functionality, but the quality of the bracelet and clasp feels like a Seiko. Their first sports bracelet, the straight bar bracelet, is way more their style, and better quality, and don’t take my word for it.. even Nomos themselves charge more for that bracelet. So when or if I’m going to buy it, it’s going to be on that bracelet.

I’ve always loved sub second and no date ever since I became interested in watches in 2016. I also love a decorated movement. If this was a 39mm it would be a home run for me.

What is the difference of the original nomos Club? It`s just the case size? The california dial? The bracelet? What neomatik stand for on this watch? Thanks, nice vídeo.

The Club is reeeeally great!
I prefer the more affordable standard club. It's somehow more casual and dressy at the same time. And greeeeeat colours.

I wish bracelets at large were always given in fully brushed or different iterations of polish. I just can't do anything but a fully brushed bracelet

That is a very nice, clean watch. And seriously, can more watchmakers put out watches that don't have the date? I just want a minimalist design like this. It's like a pickle wedge with a deli sandwich. They just assume everyone wants one. I know what day it is. Just want to be able to look at my wrist and see the time on a nice watch. :D Sorry, I'll end my rant.

I absolutely love this watch. I have been on the fence about Nomos (eyeing the pink Club!) but this has converted me. Especially this green color. Phenomenal piece and a real game-changer for the brand.

Hi Britt, love your videos and humour. I just ordered one. I just think it's such a lovely watch; and if the clasp gets scratched then i will get it polished :) next watch itch will probably be a nomos orion , the silver face version. Or a g shock as i'm very clumsy

Regarding the microadjust, does it allow you to reside 1/2 a link on the fly? I was unclear if this option is available. When wearing a Rolex explorer 1, I use this feature about 20 times a day, so I cannot live without it. Thanks for your review!

Yes, the polished clasp on the Club Sport bracelet really is a scratch magnet - it took me less than 2 weeks of very careful wear to get it visibly (to me at least) scuffed.
I know that this is heresy, but these watches also look really good on leather straps ...

My only reason to not liking Nomos is I need a watch with applied indices at the luxury price range. Their movements look amazing. Just wish they would put some indices on at least some of their watches.

Poor Brit, you've caught the vid 90 constant variant changeling , oh dear, 😕. You could have done with a bardinet VSOP brandy coffee with honey to warm thy cockles. Love your cat making a debut, can we see more, 🤣. Another gripe of the nomos is they do not do 12 real indices on the dial, that's my gripe along with the none satin anywhere finish.

Echoing what everyone else is saying - shorter lugs, more sharply pivoting endlinks, better clasp, and more colors!! Wonderful watch, might have to get this in blue

Do you ever have to remove permanent links from the bracelets of men's watches in order for it to fit properly? I have tiny wrists.

Nomos would sell so many more watches if they just made the lugs normal length. The Nomos lugs are like the Tudor faux rivets.

Do love the design of NOMOS watches... I loved the Ahoi... the only thing that stops me from buying on is the seconds hand in it's own complication rather than part of the handset... Nomos if you're reading the comments give that Ahoi a normal seconds hand and I'm in!

Not sure why you would prefer center seconds over the sundial. The sundial is what's making this watch cool. If that sundial was removed leaving you with traditional center seconds, I don't think this watch would be as attractive as it currently is.

- Tritium lume all night long! It gets dark out at 6PM after October.
- Adjustable strap/bracelet to wear on the outside of 3 layers when it's -25°C out.
- Never need to take your phone out. Most of the time you can't!
