Danganronpa: A Bird’s Despairful Wounded Wing is a fan made video series that unofficially continues the series of Danganronpa.

Synopsis:

In the hallowed halls of Muryo No Tori Academy, a prestigious university that stood as a beacon of hope and promise for its students, a dark shadow loomed.

Four years had passed since the reign of Monaca Towa as the Ultimate Despair, where more than fifty killing games ravaged the world, and had made The Tragedy worse, plunging the world into chaos, And now, one year after the future foundation had quite literally saved the world, and the fifty-third and supposed "last killing game," Danganronpa V3, a new chapter unfolded in the form of the largest killing game in history.

At the heart of this twisted tale stood Sayumi Kawahatsu, The Ultimate Supermodel, whose beauty had been both her blessing and curse. Hated her ultimate talent due to being objectified by men on the internet, she found herself thrust into a nightmare beyond her wildest imagination. As one of seventy students at Muryo No Tori Academy, Sayumi's world turned upside down when she discovered that their main professor, Chiori Nanashi, was unknowingly participating in the resurrection of Danganronpa, by being in the killing game as well, in total with 71 participants.

The Killing Game used their trauma against them, forcing them to confront their darkest pasts as each murder revealed another layer of deception and despair from the victims beyond the grave, and the culprits before their executions.

Monokuma returned with his twisted sense of motivation while Monomi tried to guide the participants away from violence. But they were not alone in this deadly dance. New mascots emerged

- Monotora, a night-themed tiger, a brother of Monokuma who doesn’t seem to care for killing games providing motives why “maybe” and is “neuteral” on why to kill.

- Monoraion, a cowardly day-themed lion, another brother of Monokuma who is completely against them who motivates “not” to kill.

- Monotori, a purple bird fledgling sister of Monokuma who “knew nothing” of killing games and does not know how to fly yet.

Lions and Tigers and Bears, Birds, and Rabbits- oh my! watched as chaos unfolded before them.

But behind it all lurked a darker secret: a predatory cult led by Miyadera Shinguji's eight unknown heirs who orchestrated this macabre spectacle. And amidst it all was Miyadera herself - Korekiyo's twisted sister thought dead but alive and well. As one of the eight masterminds behind this new killing game was revealed from the start instead of waiting until the end...

The true horror began to unfold before their very eyes. With each passing moment filled with uncertainty and dread, Sayumi found herself caught in a web of lies and deceit that threatened to consume them all.

In this tangled web of despair, can Sayumi find light at the end of the tunnel without death? Or will she succumb to the madness that surrounds her? Only time will tell as Muryo No Tori Academy for Gifted University Students becomes ground zero for the “Largest Killing game in the known history of Danganronpa yet”
