I was very big fan of Creative products until 2008, I don't trust Creative anymore; they always leaving their customers without driver support. A Creative classic.. creative = lack of up-to-dated driver, "abandoned" products. Especially internal and external sound devices.

I lost cd with drivers. So i of course visited creative labs website. I found SB X-FI surround 5.1 pro but it installed only audio control panel app. So my last hope to get back my entertaining console back is support. I told the guy my prob and he said it must be there if application is. i thought i mailed wrong person but no. the guy didnt even get interested in my problem. I searched in web on forums for people had same issue and i found them, and they said support treated them same as me.

No Dude your wrong :) i am using the Optical output and i do have 5.1 support , you will have to change the output settings at the Sounds ( in Control panel ) to SPDF and use WinDVD for movies , or just set your video game to use 5.1 surround sound .. as for windows test , it wont test all 5.1 speakers for you :) Winamp use the 5.1 system when using SPDF Output :)
