Quick Guide to playing Fire Emblem Fates with HD Textures

The reason why this pack is so difficult to run for some people is because the creator of the pack forgot to convert the textures from PNG to DDS.

I did everything as you explained, my game is still not applying the new textures :(

Is it possible to do this on a real 3ds?

Weirdly enough, I don't havethe access to "custom texture" nor does it appear in my emulation => graphics tab...any idea ?

I cannot seem to find Corrin's dragon form textures in the Outfits section of the download files.
I can only find the Alpha texture

Load the custom textures and set your resolution to the Native 400*240, it's REALLY FUNNY and not at all illegible

i already know how to do basic texture replacements but i do not know how to download mods that change the core elements of the game.

Is anyone else having a graphical issue with Kana with this mod? Whenever I view Kana(as in changing Kana's items in the inventory menu, or when Kana appears in support convos, basically any time the cursor is on Kana) their sprites fail to load, as well as sprites for other characters. Textures for characters & in the environment fail to load as well, especially in the my castle area. I removed this mod & loaded the game & I didn't have the graphical error. If anyone else has experienced this issue please let me know & if you found a fix I would love to know what it is.

I am just happy that this makes people play it again. Fates has incredible mechanics and so much replayability with all the different builds and skillsets you can make.

How are you playing Revelations with an HD texture pack? To be more specific, how are you playing it on PC? The game checks if you're connected/own the game when you boot up a save, after all.

I've been playing Awakening on my Steam Deck with my Monitor acting as the top and my deck as the bottom screen. 3 times native resolution and the hqx4 filter make it pretty playable, but custom textures would be even nicer.

Huh, I just started using citra and finagled the bottom screen onto my second monitor. Playing a 3ds game in 1440p is surreal.

One thing to note: even if your computer is quite shitty, like mine, you can add in one element at a time and start rolling back only when you experience slowdown. I only have the portraits and UI elements in HD and that's enough for me.

I wonder, does it effect the in-game models? That’s my main turn off visually

Okay but why would I want to use Citra when I could use my official 3DS that definitely isn't modded to definitely not use a .CIA file.
