Genelec 8260 monitors for my L/R with other models from The Ones series for the center and surrounds. Dual 12" 7271 subwoofer managing the bass for all channels. GLM for room correction.

Upgrade wise I just want JBL to fix the ticking noise with their AVR... Ruins it for me.

I'm jealous of that Revel system! Didn't know you had that. I use Genelec in my home theater.

I've heard the 801 D3, and they sounded great with a handful of songs at a convention.

Always hard to A&B test long term though at those things especially when you can't play your own samples to highlight issues.

Still watching the video but curious what differences you hear between the Focal, Revel, and B&W systems.

I can tell the rack is very expensive stuff. The others, I don't have to say a word. This is a USD300k system. Maybe more.

Excellent video, love your set-up - Pan. It looks stunning and I am sure it sounds wonderful. It would be interesting if you did a detailed video on how to came to your purchasing decision and what other equipment you auditioned. I am very interested in your steamer choice and if you looked at other streamers like the Innuos Pulsar. Also interesting that your totally digital...no interest in the high-end analog and spinning some vinyl? My system is built around a pair of T+A M 40 HV Mono Blocks and T+A SDV 3100 HV Streaming DAC Preamp.

Mission SX4 Series 3 way Floor standers

Using a Denon XR4400 Avr as this is also powering my home cinema

WiiM Pro for streaming with a Audiolab M-Dac

Project carbon turntable

QED 25th anniversary speaker cable and Chord interconnects.

I hope to get a Chord dac in the future and stereo power amp for the front left and rights.

Also a Rega RP6😊

your only mistake was not going with Wilson Audio Speakers. I've worked in the Home AV space since 1996 and the 2 best speaker brands are Wilson Audio and Martin Logan. Pairing with McIntosh equipment, Wilson are the better match.

I hope to have a home stereo system just for pure music in the den of our house one day. I have a wall shaking TV audio system for our 85" Samsung.

The cables are the path of clarity. I can wait till they have superconductivity, that amp must be noticed from the power company.

damn.... my setup (FL, FR, Sub, Amp, Dac, Turntable,, phono preamp(haha its dat internal of my yamaha a-s300🤏👀) headphones, pc + all gear, Monitors and every wire, seriously.. all my damn electric stuff (i even thought of my f**** remote controlls...) in my flat isn't even worth a quarter of your Left Speaker 😄 1 McIntosh Component in my chain is my biggest dream but the smallest amp is even way to expensive. others would buy a car if they earn somehow 10 grand, i would buy the ma-5200 (for me my personal endgame) btw.. with this damn KW cap. of your monoblocks, here in germany damn dude u would not want to use it here 😂 actually we pay ~ 0,32€ kw/h 😂🤣 a not closer friend in mexico thaught i was talking shit-...... his energy is near 0,09€ kw/h)

I've got an older system I got when I worked in that industry. Rotel pre and power amp and Klipsch RF1/reference speakers all round. Great for home theatre with the horn loaded tweaters but for music a little bright but they're not bad at all. 2 x 12 inch Velodyne subs. Cabling definitely makes a difference.
