For all the Chinese soldiers died during the war they have successfully give peace to China for a few years, and then the Chinese Civil War but at least they have served there country good and well I hope they can see beyond the grave on how peaceful China is today for what they fight for

My grandfather was only 13 years old when the war began but nonetheless he had to join the army to fight. He wasn’t big enough to carry a gun so he had to run ammo and shells to the troops who were fighting. They didn’t have any shoes, food or supplies most of the time. Often times they had to march for tens of miles a day. He would often recount to us just how brutal, cruel and disgusting the Japanese soldiers were. They took all the peoples food and utensils, tortured and executed so many innocent civilians. It seriously was a fight for survival. Not only the Japanese but the communists as well who backstabbed the KMT. The Civil war and “Great Leap Forward” are what killed my grandfathers parents and family due to starvation. He had to flee to Taiwan by himself after the war and never got to go back to his homeland. Even in his elderly days there was nothing he hated more than Japs and Commies 😅

My great-grandfather was an army Officer in Kuomintang during the war against Japanese invasion. He died during the battle. He sacrificed his life protecting his family and motherland. I'm proud to have such an honourable ancestor.
