People mad that the art style is similar to Arcane's/Spiderverse's need to learn how the entertainment industry works. Of course it is, it's animation being aimed at an adult audience. And those two series set the new tone for "adult animation."

Executives are a cowardly lot with no ambition or imagination. Your pitch is gonna have to mimic what they knew was recently acclaimed in your flavor of media to get their approval. Every animated feature aimed at adult audiences will look like this for years to come. Like how online games suddenly shifted hard into MOBAs and then battle royales for a while immediately following the successes of certain games in each of those genres.

Oh my this looks beyond amazing. I dont typically like anime but I will definitely be watching this!
