All this laminate does not convince me at all.
Painting is the easiest; more efficient solution.
La minate will catch moisture; maybe faster than one may think. It doesn't age very well… I would keep this to a minimum…

I got rid of all laminates on my own boat and never regretted an instant.

Lovely, but you’ll need fiddles around the counter, etc. or it’s impossible to keep anything from falling off if your anything but level.
