The new Magic Keyboard with Touch ID can finally be purchased without buying an iMac. Do you plan on getting one or what keyboard do you use? Thanks for watching as it is always appreciated.
Ответитьthat typing sound is so fucking satisfying lol
ОтветитьThe "Home", "End", "Page Up" and "Page Down" keys are arrow symbols on mine, not the words. Did they change it?
Ответить@zollotech
Does it work with Macbook Pro 2019 16" (Last intel version) with touch id built in? I tried but maybe I did something wrong?
Does the fingerprint work on the login screen without a cable?
ОтветитьTyping experience on this keyboard is closer to what you feel on flat screen, than on real keyboard, however touch ID is great great addition, fingerprint scanner should be already on the MX Mechanical from Logitech.
Ответитьbought one from ebay
ОтветитьJust ordered MBAmidnight m2 base model with this keyboard in space gray with a black magic mouse, im so happy ! Had to save up for a looooooong time !
ОтветитьI just realized it doesnt have backlit keys lol.
ОтветитьHi. Does it work with iPad when used with Bluetooth? I have an iPad 9th gen with lightning port and I'm wondering if the one without the numeric keyboard will work.
ОтветитьIsn't it supposed to light up when you plug it in
ОтветитьGreat stuff thanks
ОтветитьCrazy how the Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro has backlight & it’s all black & this keyboard doesn’t & is not….
ОтветитьComing in 2025, The macOS version 15 will add the touchscreen support and the Face ID as the additional biometric authentication for unlocking the Mac devices.
ОтветитьYes, please do not teach people how to type.
Ответитьalthough I would have loved to have gotten a backlight with this keyboard, I do find it as a good option and personally one of my favorite keyboards to use on my mac mini. maybe next time we will get the option
ОтветитьIn the video you connect the keyboard with a non-M1 macbook pro with the cable or via bluetooth? Looks like it's through a cable from the video. My concern is that my macbook air (intel chips) doesn't have a usb-C port and was wondering if it can be paired with the Touch ID keyboard through bluetooth.
ОтветитьSo the touch ID won't work with my 2020 Macbook Pro? Thanks
ОтветитьBut there's no TOUCH ID on System Preference. Very frustrating, spent so much money, upgraded MacOS, can't see the icon. Any advice, Sir?
ОтветитьHey! Zollotech, is it possible to use the "touch id" feature on a Macbook pro 16" 2019 core I7?
ОтветитьDo the keys light up?
ОтветитьWHAT HAPPENED TO THE BACKLIT KEYS??? NO BACKLIT KEYS NO BUYING. I'm going to contact Apple and make the same statement. What's the point of having a Mac Keyboard without this KEY ingredient?
ОтветитьIs the frame aluminum? I got one today and it feels like painted plastic as opposed to the old magic keyboards which was solid aluminum
ОтветитьMac-Heads astound me. This piece of designing shit is $180.00, and somehow we're not hearing outraged criticism. There's negligible angle in the profile, no feet to accentuate an incline, no texture on the keycaps, minimal key-travel, quite mild tactile feedback, no keycap-contour — nothing that actually makes a keyboard successful in meeting the goals of its existence. Even in the realm of more "modern" features, there is no back-lighting, and there's no U.S.B.—pass-through as to allow connexion of a mouse or a flash-drive. One can purchase an excellent mechanical keyboard for far less than this price-tag, and have a product far superior in every way — but, of course, it wouldn't be monotone silver, or bear a fucking bite-marked apple.
ОтветитьDoes this work with other products other than Apple?
ОтветитьI just bought the black version for my new Mac mini
ОтветитьThe imac m1 comes with color braided lightning cable
ОтветитьCan i use this keyboard without a cable on my Macbook Pro 2021? Like through bluetooth
ОтветитьJust ordered mine in black. Can’t wait
ОтветитьAs much as I like the design, for Apple's retail price it ought to have backlighting.
ОтветитьHow does it compare to the new keyboard on the MPB 14 and 16? I'm quite enjoying that one.
ОтветитьThe new Magic Keyboard w/TouchID is nice but the new rounded edge design does look as nice as the previous version.
ОтветитьDoes it have backlighting?
Ответитьis this keyboard with illuminate ?
ОтветитьWhere is backlit ?
ОтветитьAre you able to turn on your Mac with the Touch ID button? I'm using my Macbook mostly docked and find it cumbersome to have to open the Mac to start it.
ОтветитьA terrible shame it won't work with older (i.e., 2017 and newer) iMacs, too. Apple must have added support for TouchID in older iMacs. Pretending to care about ecology, yet doing more or less everything in their power to ruin it.
ОтветитьThe only real benefit i see with this keyboard is the Touch ID functionality. I'm more inclined to go with Logitech's Craft keyboard that has the 'crown', programmable keys and backlit keys with sensor. It's also cheaper.
ОтветитьAnd It Has No Backlighting.
ОтветитьHas anyone already tested the operation of this keyboard with or without the numbers on an iPad Pro? What can you say about it? Thanks.
ОтветитьDoes this pair with the iPad gen 9 2021 versions
ОтветитьLove it! Thanks for that thorough review. (And subscribed— You have amazing content)
ОтветитьI’ll get one when they do colors.
ОтветитьThanks for being so thorough in what the the Touch ID can do...and can't.
ОтветитьI am really trying to justifying saving up for one of these to use with my M1 Mac Mini. I currently have a non-Mac Bluetooth keyboard with a numeric keypad that cost about £25 which works well and is very similar to look at. When I think that I would be paying £180 to get a Touch ID key it feels a bit hard to justify spending over half a months worth of my income on it. It is very tempting though…
ОтветитьSo the lightning cable only charges the keyboard? There is no data that goes through the cable? That is it only connects wirelessly?
ОтветитьIs the key spacing/size the same on the numerical and non-numerical version?
Ответить
