Imho, both cooperation and collaboration skills are undervalued by others and often the person exhibiting those skills will be exploited and under-rewarded, socially. This is because people think that that person is naturally cooperative and collaborative, therefore, no sweat, ergo, they don't 'deserve' even recognition for their 'good behaviour'??
