Hi! David, You're video vlog is the main reason why I decided to buy my Toyota 4 Runner TRD Sport and I love driving it 😊
ОтветитьLooking for a 4 runner now. Had a 2nd gen tacoma and bought a 3rd gen. 3rd gen was a set back in everyway. CAFE is going to destroy every ICE eventually.
ОтветитьWent ahead and bought the 23 4runner 40th anniversary edition in midnight black with heritage sripes for the same exact reasons you listed. Didn't want to take chances with the 6th gen whenever it comes out.
ОтветитьIt sure would have been nice for Toyota to offer some additional interior options besides black and grey. Even the ceiling and side interior parts have been the same off white the whole dang time. Meanwhile look at the KIA / Hyundai leather seat options / Subaru Outback leather seat options. As Henry Ford said, you can have any color you want as long as it's black :D
Ответить"J" in the vin.
ОтветитьI was about to purchase 5th gen trd offroad before I found out payload cap on the driver side door sticker. Payload cap was just over 800 lb but GVWR - curb weight = approx 1500. What is the limiting factor? Some people say it is rear differential lock on the internet. If the limiting factor is diff lock then is it safe to load 1500 lb when rear diff lock is not used?
ОтветитьLove our 2023 TRD ORP in Lunar Rock!
ОтветитьJust got one ,....finally wahooo..!!!!
ОтветитьHow would you compare the build of the Sequoia in comparison to the 4-Runner?
ОтветитьHow about the 23 models? Are they built in Japan? Your thoughts?
ОтветитьI am looking at a 2021 sr5 limited with 70 k on it . praying i get it :P)
ОтветитьThe 11th reason to own a 4runner is because they make a supercharger for the 4.0L V6 👍😉
ОтветитьI’ve been looking at 4Runners for months now. I’m hoping my dealer can get the one i want. I don’t know how to order them any other way.
ОтветитьJust bought a 2023 SR5 for my retirement present. It should last forver.
ОтветитьSide note - where is this video shot? Such a chill street and classic homes.
ОтветитьJapan made is the best. ...................
ОтветитьHow much is it
Ответить4Runner needs a 6 speed manual
ОтветитьI've been looking into the 4runner hearing so many good things about it but I can't understand how if the MPG is so low
ОтветитьI currently own a 2021 Nissan Titan Pro-4x which I need for towing my 5.5k lb tractor to the shop for the intense maintenance intervals. I've owned both mid-size and full-size trucks to include a 2003 Tacoma Ext cab 4x4. I absolutely loved that Taco and I could never get it stuck in the NJ mud or snow. I'd never actually considered an SUV as I felt they were all too car-like with the current models. That is, until this past October when I took a work trip to Anchorage, AK and through chance and great fortune was given a 21 4Runner TRD as a rental. That 4Runner fit me like a glove and it reminded me of all the great qualities of my 03 Taco. It was fun to drive, felt so sure-footed and was just the right size. It truly is the vehicle for the apocalypse as I feel that it will get you anywhere. I'm pricing between a TRD and TRD premium and I agree that it's a great value. As crazy as it sounds, I'm actually considering trading in that 21 Titan on a 23 4Runner and then just looking for an older used 1/2 ton truck for my towing needs. Thank you for the very detailed and helpful video.
ОтветитьI own the 2006 V8 Sport Edition, which is still a joy to drive and look at! I personally do not like the redesign for the newer 4Runners, or the elimination of the V8! Compared to my 4th Generation, the newer design looks box like, and less muscled.
ОтветитьI have a 2019 SR5 Premium . I put a Bilstein 3" lift with 6112 coilover adjustable on front. and reservoir shocks 5160's on back and ICON springs to lift it 2". Its level and the handling is flawless. I also put a 2" front DIF drop kit on front. to help pinion angle. I love this vehicle because its on frame construction and its a "Tank". . I put it in a large puddle and the water came up to the bottom of the doors. Hit the A Track button and 4low. Walked out no problem. I put ICON wheels 17 x 8.5. I plan to put 285 x70 General tires when the stock tires are worn out. The wider wheels make the stock tires look a lot wider. Don't hessitate to get these vehicles.
ОтветитьAwesome video :) I tried a Jeep and man I came running back to my 4 Runners
Ответить2020 owner here :)
ОтветитьYou say 5th gen but then limit it to the 2019+ and also exclude the SR5's.
ОтветитьWhat about all the undercarriage rust?
Ответить4 cylinder and built in Mexico??? What is Toyota thinking? This 5th gen is the best vehicle they have ever built. Just bought my 2015 with 120,000 miles used. Got a great deal on it and plan to keep it forever.
ОтветитьAbsolutely great vehicle that really holds value.
ОтветитьOwn a 17. Bluetooth works fine.
ОтветитьKeep this engine not a 4 cylinder
Thats stupid . If this 5th gen works keep it and work on making it more affordable. I wish they had it in the ruby red insread of that orange reddish color and also bring bach shoreline blue.
Old gen will not sell anymore, people are Waiting for the new gen. New motor.
ОтветитьIn the past 35 years I've leased and owned over 120 vehicles.
After 3 years 95 % of them start falling apart and deteriorating regardless of miles. Built in obsolescence.
The only vehicles I owned wc never show their age and are super reliable are the toyotas built in Japan wc are the landcruiser and 4 runner. The other Japanese vehicles not made in Japan are as bad as the German and American crap made in usa.
SAD TO SAY!
Good vehicle but it's a guzzler.
Ответитьhave not will I ever pay over msrp.
the wait is on
My brother had a 2014 4Runner and he absolutely loved it. He needed a truck eventually and he loves his 2021 Tacoma but he said he prefers the 4.0 over the 3.5, it feels more torquey to him. I’m thinkin about getting a 4Runner since I’m moving up north soon
ОтветитьDo you work for Toyota lol
ОтветитьCashed out my 2017 full time 4wheel drive limited 4runner for one reason, because it's 100% made in japan , not regret a bit till today, handles amazing with full time 4wheel drive, only thing i notice is the front bumper doesn't line up . will never buy any cars made from mexico, this is just my personal experience, they all turn to lemon , had to hire an attorney.
ОтветитьPahingi nman nyan..
ОтветитьWow you almost convince me to buy one!
Ответитьin the market for a new car... my current 2008 4Runner has 200,000 miles on it and still getting 23mpg highway. Now I know why 4runners run a little more expensive than Highlanders.
ОтветитьI love 4Runner I had a 2017 trd pro I do miss it but I won’t never get rid of my 14 fj cruiser 😊
Ответить1 reason why I shouldn't buy a 4runner is I don't have enough money.
ОтветитьIn one of your videos you talked about five reasons to wait for a new 6th generation 4Runner. Here you give 10 reasons to buy the current version. So which is it: buy the current model or wait for the new one?
(By the way, I am the original owner of a 1986 first-generation SR5, with 331K miles. It is stock, in perfect mechanical condition but in need of some body shop love, to fix a few dents and put on a coat of paint. I am currently in the market and am trying to decide between a new Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch package on the one hand, and the latest Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro or Off-road. I am leaning toward the Off-road trim, due to the available KDSS option, which is not available on the Pro.)
Simplicity! Don’t need too much modern gadgets. I am glad I got last year(2019 Trd pro) of old dinosaur model LOL
ОтветитьI just purchased a 2022. The final assembly point: Tahara, Aichi, Japan. I'm very impressed with it. Drives like a luxury vehicle.
ОтветитьGreat review. Thanks
ОтветитьI have the 22 TRD PRO but I am thinking of getting the 23 limited. Do you think it would be a good idea?
I am probably moving to Ontario from BC and full time 4WD might come in handy with the amount snow in ON as this will be my every day ride.
Additional reason..buy it because it's V6 and not turbo charged.
ОтветитьTalk about perfect alignment and small gaps. This is not a Lexus. The roughness is one of the best identifiable aspects of the 4Runner
