How to Setup/Pair SmartCast Remote App to Vizio SmartCast TV

Brand new tv and it doesn’t work, I mostly use airplay on most tv’s

I figured it out guys. My app was saying it couldn’t find any devices so what I did was uninstalled my app. Waited for 5 seconds, reinstalled, open app and it should give you a few pop ups, say yes (except the one that says if it’s ok for apple to track what you do with the app) then say yes to link, you should see your tv listed in the top, press the plus button like he did and follow the rest he did.

hello I want to ask a question this is simply a remote control? I thought that casting meant that I could play a video or something from my phone on my television is that not possible with vizio?
