So, I've always loved architecture and interior design. At least, for the past 5 years I've been really drawn to it. And this is bc of my love for all things luxury: luxury homes especially. I watch this channel called LPG (Lifestyle Productions Group) on YT almost everyday and have been considering real estate as a career, only bc I mainly love homes and what they look like. I also have an interest in a miniaturist hobby! Anyway, I just turned 31 and am wondering if going back to school for interior design is too late? I did go to college after high school, but dropped out bc I was undecided on a career path. Now I almost feel like this is my calling...but am I too old for it? 🤔

I am a teenager and everyone's asking me what I want to be and I am soo confused I couldn't find anything I like I have also always been into arts and creativity and all and now I feel like I FAINALLY found something which I might do in my career! And I just want to say that THANK YOU SO MUCH for this and I love you're energy!!! from now from today I will begin my journey in interior designing (no idea how i am gonna do that but i guess look for universities) and when I sucseed in my career it will all be because of you!!! you are amazing !!

Watching this while playing sims 👀👀👀 sims made me want to get into interior design and now I’m looking into videos on it to see what it’s really about and I think it’d be great for me as I am a strategic and artistic type person.

Can you become an interior designer without doing trades in high school?

Kelsey, love the idea of learning from each other: I learn a lot from the comments section too. Right now I’m listening to you and what I see is distracting; for instance, why are you standing in a pain neutral light room with nothing on the wall except a black framed mirror, talking about interior design? There is no design going on beside or behind you. Please at least style a coffee table or desk and sit near it so we can see and feel your design sense. It will help. Hope this helps. Your personality comes across as energetic and pleasantly informative and positive. Interested to see where you go from here on your channel.

Hey Kelsey, Is Drexel scholarship available for non US residents?

I am currently looking into artistic careers for myself and have found that interior design is the thing I do most consistently without getting burnt out, hearing about all the school stuff for it REALLY scared me at first, but hearing about the other methods made it seem doable. I cannot thnk you enough for your explanation.

I am already graduating with a graphic design degree. However, I would love to get an interior design certification. What certification programs do you recommend and is a certification enough to start a commercial/residential interior design firm? thank you!
