What Iove about Lex in this series is how vastly intelligent he is. He KNOWS Clark is hiding something. And I feel if Clark HAD trusted him, they would have remained friends. But because Clark represents everything Lex isn't and has the things he wants the most, a loving family, friends, and a nice simple life, he grows to hate Clark more and more. Knowing Clark is lying to him, makes his constantly question why he's not good enough to earn his trust. Why does the world embrace Clark with open arms, yet he himself is doomed to a life of loneliness and isolation just because he shares the same blood as his near universally hated Father. And eventually, he just stops trying to be good. I think the episode where he kills his father was amazing. EVERYTHING Lex had done up until that point could have been forgiven. I think part of the reason why Lionel doesn't scream on his way down, is because he KNOWS his mistakes and the decisions he made with Lex, created this. He KNOWS this is what he deserves, and maybe he even saw it coming through a vision at some point hence why he tried so hard to make amends in the end. But ironically, Lionel embracing Clark just sent Lex even further off the deep end. To the point that nothing he said, or did, could change either of their fates.

Not a very good list to be honest. Legendary is definitely not how I would describe this at all.. There were waaaay better moments in Smallville than these.

I'm am here as someone who has rewatched the series an embarrassing amount of times.
And I must say that even with its cringe, horrible writing at times in later seasons, and all the leather, this one of THE best Superman stories.
These characters, man.
Especially the dynamic between Clark and Lex has (in my opinion) NEVER been done better.

Watched the series in 2023. And rewatched it so many times my family was so sick of it. The show is epic. I love me some Superman.

Insofar as Epic Scenes go, I absolutely LOVED the scene where Clark saves Chloe from Checkmate.

One of my favourite moments is when, Kal-El flies and Annette o'tooles acting gives me tingles. " DESTINY?! No..that's Jor -El talking,give me my son back, I want my son back!!!" The music is amazing too

They should make a series on those 3 legions, I think it would get good ratings almost as good as Smallville, loyal Smallville fans I think would love it 😊

When Lex smiled at Lionel funeral. He knew he hurt Clark by taking someone who became important to him. I think that’s why he smiled. More like a smirk.

My top 3 unforgettable - 1st - The death of clark's father - him throwing sand over the coffin - 2nd - Episode 1x09 - Rogue - Clark dodges a bullet for the first time in his life - 3rd - Episode 4x05 Clark races with Bart (Flash) at the end of the episode - with wonderful music

This show made me believe that if Clark had just been honest with Lex and not constantly made him question his mind then he would have turned out much different. Clark was really a shit friend to Lex. All due to Clark's fear of how he'd react. Clark pushed Lex into the dark and his constant lies and hypocrisy made Lex resent him. It used to make me so angry.

I am and will always be a huge Batman fan but this show is the only Superman I will ever except

When i started collecting the dvds,i went backwards i got season 3 first before season 4 started and i got got season 2 then 1 lol
