After the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, human rights activists recorded mass deportations of Ukrainians from different regions of the country. This is a planned policy of the Russian Federation, inherited from the Soviet Union that organized about 110 mass deportations of different nations during its existence. In total, Soviet Russia forcibly resettled almost 6 million innocent people.

Currently, Russia forcibly deports Ukrainian children, adults, and elderly people. They use a particular approach to children by taking them out of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and giving them for illegal adoption to Russian families. On March 17, 2023, the International Criminal Court issued warrants for the arrest of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin and his commissioner for children's rights Maria Lvova-Belova, specifically for the crime of forcible deportation of Ukrainian children.

Masking the deportation of Ukrainians as "evacuation," "rescue," "vacation," Russia continues to implement the planned policy of destruction of the Ukrainian people. This terrorist state must be stopped and must pay for what it has done because, voluntarily, it won't stop its crimes against humanity.

Watch this video about how Moscow deported people during the Soviet Union and how its successor, modern Russia, continues implementing the same policy.
