Is it me or were the movements of the character smoother on release?

I m late af but got to play the game recently for the first time so...

I really don t like the fights in this game, I feel like each hit doesn t matter and are weak ans so I refuse to finish the game (and the extra brutal aspect didn t help either, feel highly unnessecary) , erase it from my console and went back to unity when I got both games at the same time

The core pillars ; navigation, stealth and fight.

Unity and Syndicate had its problems but I would love to see AC series return to this old-school type of gameplay. This is all I want! I want densely populated historic locations, cinematic animation-based combat with cool finishers, a lot of assassin tools, fully realized stealth system, smooth parkour and a tight story that is focused and interesting. Ubi, please... Just make something like Black Flag, Unity or Syndicate but polish it so it's actually impressive.

it was too good the assassins before (Altair, Ezio, Arno, Jacob ...) but now the Vikings and everything has become boring in my opinion
