If the attacker is armed with smth like knife, I feel like the first important thing is to disarm him/her and baton would be a great kit doing it
ОтветитьWho holds a knife like that on the streets? Dojo tactics that's it.
ОтветитьMakes perfectly good sense to me. The baton is mightier the knife, when used in the exact manner as you described. Thank you.
ОтветитьI am very effective with both a baton and a knife. This information will get you killed. Back up, back up, back up. Use your superior range. There is a targeted attack called a "back wrap" that is ideal in this situation while you do everything you can to maintain distance. If the knife wielder closes distance, you are dead.
ОтветитьThe problem is: You never know he had a knive, he pull it at clinch...
ОтветитьCan low kicks give distance against the knife attack? Also can the low kicks be integrated with the baton strikes?
ОтветитьDistance management
ОтветитьMerci pour cette vidéo très courte mais très instructive
ОтветитьWhich length would you recommend for a baton? 21 inches or 26?
I'm 1,68 m small man.
This type of bulkshit gonna get you killed,do not follow this, the moment you trying to get close you got stabbed
ОтветитьNice vid sir
ОтветитьPlease get some training. This video will get you killed.
ОтветитьI actually got my baton from a gas ⛽️ station.
Ответитьthat's stupid.
put the stick on shoulder is a very very stupid.
it needs time to strike.
your problem is, u always defense.
chance to die : 97% 😂😂
Technically it’s strictly advised not to strike for the head during baton training 🌚
Manslaughter or murder charges 🌚🌚🌚
Baton for life in my experience.
Sometimes, you just need to show the handle and let the attacker know you're aware and ready to fight.
I successfully de-escalate a situation when some guys started following me and my girlfriend too close, I showed the holstered baton and look at them like "I know your intention, I'm ready to fight, don't mess with us". They walked away while my girlfriend didn't notice the whole situation.
I love to use it to put space between me and the attacker, I did fencing in my childhood (sabre) and it comes natural for me using a baton😂
qht if he tried very hard
ОтветитьWhat about a quick sweep to the knees for an escape?
ОтветитьHave a baton? buy a short whip or a stun gun. Stick can be grabbed and it doesn't do a lot of damage
Ответитьhello, what video are you describing?
ОтветитьPlease make a video on if you wear glasses and you end up in fight. Do you keep them on or loose them to fight? Big issue for people with glasses.
Ответить🙈🙈🙈🙈
ОтветитьWhy not attack the hand with the blade first instead of the hand without the blade. It is theoretically possible but practically you don't know how the opponent is going to move. I would first go for the hand with the knife so that the danger is eliminated and then slap the rest of the body and run for my own safety. I'm looking forward to your answer, greetings Yann
ОтветитьBatons are also used for joint locks
ОтветитьYou can also use feints very effectively..however, you must use some body (shoulders and hips) rotation to generate the forces needed.. not only the arm. It's the same with punches.
ОтветитьI like how realistic and useful your approach to self-defense/self-protection is
ОтветитьUh huh
ОтветитьI have a baton too this is useful
ОтветитьVery informative but in the U.K
You can't defend yourself have to wait for the police to turn up and that can be a very long time! From a woman allmost killed back in December, can't have anything like this in the U.K. scary the to be a woman! So easy to be overpowered! Most I can have is a rape alarm!
Thanks for the video though
Hello everyone
