I’m very disappointed with this new design of S class , it looks more like Asian made cars trying to look like a S class ! I really like the previous S class model , I was looking forward to buy one this year but I’m very disappointed with this new design . I’ll have to pass for now on buying and wait for the next model to come

The 2017 grill looked the best, the meanest, the most executive!...great review but you should have included that one in the mix. Why they are dumbing down the BEAST with smaller grill, smaller lights and removing the class from the interior I HAVE NOOOOO CLUE!

See this car. That is why Mercedes sits on 50% of the segment, the rest can BMW, Audi, Jaguar etc. fight for.

The big screen in the middle is meh.
I really like the look of the wood behind it stretching from one side of the car to the other.

But that damn screen behind of the steering wheel is just plain terrible, it looks like it just tacked on with double-sided tape and feels like the desingners went "eh, that'll do". Really looks like it doesn't belong there at all...

If cars are becoming this complex it isn't far fetched to think a subscription model would become more popular than car ownership. The car looks too complex to fully enjoy in my opinion.

I want to like the interior as I believe it was designed to offer a media rich experience. I imagine the ride to be somewhat distracting but media rich if you are in the back seats of a 2021 S class. To me the interior looks loud and busy. But then that's my problem with it, it looks comfortable but all the screens, the way everything doesn't just flow, always make me feel distracted when I look at a 2021 S-class interior. It's like the car has too many features that you can never truly fully understand or learn to do everything on the car so your mind doesn't get to rest in the car.

Mercedes dropped the ball on this S class. The luxury exterior has taken a step back. The 2020 version will increase in value due to this poor upgrade.

I have a 1971 S Class. A W108S. Best car I ever bought. Daily driver 49 years old. Not a day goes by that I am not approached by someone who wants to buy it.

To me this car is a fail. I loved my 08 S600.

I am actually impressed. This S-class is ready for autonomy. No one NEEDS to sit in the driver seat anymore with the redundant screens and the augmented reality animation projected ahead that I am sure can be adjusted for all occupants to see given the 70" visibility range mentioned in the video. I think this S Class is setting that standard and has become (continues to be) the new luxury Benchmark for this very reason.
