Moral of this story.....bring a supply of disinfecting wipes to ANY HOTEL you stay at. I was a housekeeper for a summer at a very nice hotel. Every room has to be cleaned in 30 minutes max. This includes the bathroom too! Each bed cover is cleaned 1 time per month unless its visually dirty. The laundry rooms are too busy to deal with each bed cover on a daily basis. REMOVE THAT OFF THE BED WHEN YOU ARRIVE!!!!!!!
