Really happy Boris made it as high as he did

Russell sabotaged himself by his behavior. Why should anyone he bullied go all out to help Russell win? I believe where you step on and abuse people to get to the top, don't expect them to help you when get there or when you need them. Even Russell's final words after losing revealed who Russell really was!

I have a good idea whos gonna be in last place next video. She'll probably be last place more than once, unfortunately though she wont be last place more than twice.

Unpopular opinion but Russell(S8) had the worst finale in HK history. I argue that even Virginia’s finale was better because at least she didn’t threaten to attack her brigade and accepted her loss to Heather in the end. Plus she was a much more likable runner up compared to Russell(S8).

Jillian definitely should've been in the final two instead of Nona and then go on to win Season 8, it would've made the season so much more likeable to me.

Nona being the one to face Russell in the finale was definitely a "nail-biter", it was more difficult for her plus her chances were definitely slim/the odds were stacked against her, she had to give it her all. Once Russell started to bomb, the moment of "So you're saying Nona has a chance" settled in. Hey at least we got to see some satisfaction of Russell becoming the runner-up.

Craziest season ever? Probably.

For as much of a disaster as this season was talent-wise, at least it was RICH personality-wise. Raj being at the top is very valid; like you said, he's iconic. Though I'd personally also put Louis higher up than most; he gave us the "Raj is 49... quote" plus besides the Raj slander, I found him oddly charming.

Looking forward to tomorrow's ranking and the people it'll upset by having Will and Paul relatively low.

Man, not only is the season void of talent, but I struggle to find chefs I like as well, like Vinny and Kurtis are pretty cool, I love Jillian and Raj is Raj but I don’t really like anyone else tbh

My favorites were, Gail and Sabrina honestly, Sabrina is a hustler and I though Gail was funny so cute and one of my Hell's Kitchen crushes, My LEAST favorites were, Vinny guy had a MASSIVE Ego and had the audasity to say Sabrina had to passion for being a chef, Russel is this 1980's foodball player bully, Trev is a good for nothing chain smoker 🚬 Jullian was really fake towards Sabrina honestly, Nona is one of the least deserving Hell's Kitchen winners ever Sabrina was right about her thinking fine dining is fried chicken lol

Raj is the type of guy who would bring 18 plus people to an 18 or up movie.

This might be a hot take, but I don’t think Jillian is a nice person
Like she would sometimes side with Sabrina, and then she’d not be on her side
She called Nona “fat and ugly” and told her she was on her side since day 1 when she said in the first episode she didn’t like her
She pretty much did nothing in the Gail elimination episode except for whine and complain about Gail. While you could argue that Gail not being very strong justified this, the whole time complaining about her and how she didn’t want to help her was not cool
She said Gail needed a makeover, when IMO, Gail is the prettiest girl on the whole season

Raj deserves rank one. He is the Dragon Warrior!!

My fave part of this season is when Sabrina says she was hoping that P Diddy comes out the limo

Honestly, one of my favourite parts about Melissa's HK run was that despite how bad she was, the red team glazed her ass like she was one of the best chefs on the team, with Nona being one of the most notable people to do this.

My rankings for each of these seasons are a combination of character personality, impact, and, of course, kitchen skills.
1. Raj Brandston (Duh. Yes, he is the biggest donkey ever, but his screen time and weird antics more than make up for that.)
2. Jillian Flathers (The best overall chef this season and most likely is the winner if she didn't completely choke at the pass. Why did you do that to the audience, Jillian?)
3. Gail Novenario (Similar thing of Boris goes for Gail despite her historically bad collapse.)
4. Boris Poleschuk (Yeah, he's this high for being an actual likeable figure this season, except for Raj.)
5. Nona Sivley (I know she also was vocal about Sabrina, had her infamous moment of talking back at Ramsay where she would have been gone if her team lost and if course, "beating" Russell in the finale, but idk, she's not that memorable to me otherwise. Part of that is due to my #2, but still.)
6. Vinny Accardi (Vinny didn't ask me to put him this high. He highly recommended it.)
7. Melissa Doney (Biggest rival to Sabrina (respect), but she fails to gain leeway when she destroys every scallop in back to back services. Come on now...)
8. Trev McGrath (You either get the absolute best in Trev or the absolute worst in Trev. There is no middle ground. So placing him here in the middle is quite ironic.)
9. Lewis Curtis (Yes, he got screwed to keep Raj in, but idk, if you can't do sushi right in HK where you don't even need to cook it, I know then you're not lasting long.)
10. Louie Repucci (He seemed fine, just completely tanked in the 4th service. After Raj nonetheless. Bad follow up.)
11. Emily Kutchins (She got eliminated over Melissa completely ruining a whole service of scallops. That’s how useless she was.)
12. Lisa LaFranca (She's an ok 1st boot. Nothing special.)
13. Rob McCue (If you shoot at the king, you best not miss. That’s what Rob did and then he whines and complains about it even though he did the exact same thing. Dick.)
14. Antonia Boregman (The worst signature dish ever and a medevac that felt so over the top that I personally believe it was scripted. If that sounds mean, sorry, but I do.)
15. Russell Kook II (What more can I say? This guy sucks.)
16. Sabrina Brimhall (I'm sorry, but her start was so awful that I literally did not care about any other positives she may have had, and this lasted all the way until black jackets, which is a fucking joke. Hot take. I hate her more than Elise, that's how impacted I was from her personality.)

I can see why Raj is #1, you can google his name.

4. Raj barely made any mistakes this episode minus making too many garnishes and getting yelled at twice

Trev is the kind of guy that you root for as the underdog because everyone else treats him like shit but then you look back and realize he absolutely deserved it. Trev was treated bad, but he also treated his opponents poorly. He was "friends" with Raj for like 5 seconds until Raj pissed him off. He got on everyone's bad side(in both seasons) and genuinely could not seem to understand why; when as a spectator it seems pretty obvious that he chirps constantly. I want to like him so much, I just can't.

Also I watch this show pretty exclusively while stoned. All of your videos so far have mentioned contestants I had no idea existed, like Melissa and Louie.
Jillian is pretty much the reason I rewatch this season. She reminds me so much of Bonnie from Season 3 and I mean that with the highest regard. Bonnie had real moments of weakness where she felt like she would break but pulled back and got second place. Jillian had the same kind of moments and made it to third. I love that, and I love watching that. She's the winner in my eyes, Russell can pound sand.

Sorry but to me not enough of a reason for Raj to be #1 this season. Despite not being in the finale Jillian is easily the best from this season. Give it all attitude. Super charming. Cooks good! Possibly the most likeable chef ever in the Hells Kitchen competition.

8 is one of the few HK seasons where a man is widely ranked dead last by the fanbase. And even thats debatable bc they usually call Sabrina the names Trev calls her.

To be fair to Russell, I was actually happy when he gave those annoying high schoolers some attitude. Those kids needed a dose of reality before rich preppy college and Russell had to be the one to tell them that they don't matter.

you should do a video about best challenge performer from each season/biggest service beast. like ppl such as whit or mia who are clearly all-time challenge queens, and trenton who is the first person to win all of the black jacket challenges.

Imma say it. Russell is worse than Elise. Elise was a brat but I don’t think she ever physically threatened anyone on either of her seasons. Russell threatened to hurt people on his season really happy Ramsay didn’t give him the position

I didn't start watching HK until the end of season 10, so I watched all the early seasons after the fact. When I got to Season 8, I was ready to throw in the towel, and that was all because of Sabrina. Looking back, the fact that the rest of the cast was mostly unlikeable and untalented probably amplified my dislike of Sabrina. Then, of course, a few people warned me about Season 9...

Raj may not be the best chef in hk but Raj definitely made season 8 bareable because of how goofy this guy is and also being a terrible chef helps(sorry raj)
