Honestly when it comes to combat logging I wouldn't even care if someone did it to me if they were just someone who wasn't looking for a fight or really doesn't wanna PvP, but it is extremely shitty for people to do it after the battle begins and they start to lose.

Just started playing dayz last week on a low pop official server. Had my first encounter and failed miserably. My grand plan was to run up to this dude and shoot him with a bk-43... well i missed lol. I shot him while outside and didn't plan for all of the zombies in cherno to come running. Got killed by a group of zeds while we exchanged shots.

I noticed now you can not store items in a dry bag , and have it in your inventory . I used to do this to keep my inventory organized and light ...not sure if it is a Bug or intentional .

would you get poisoned after drinking the "fresh" water from the cooking pot in which you also store raw meat or a chicken corpse?

I combat log when I don't want PvP in my agenda a.k.a I don't shoot first

Combat logging is as usual as cheating in official Servers. Everyone does it

I'm very new to the game (abkut 15 hours right know) and just got my 1st pvp kill today. I was in the kamensk MB and went around a container when a guy came from the opposite direction. luckily he missed his 1st shot and I was able to put all 4 rounds of. 45 ACP left in my FX-45 magazine in him(one must have been a headshot.) so now I have an mp5 and an ak 74. this game is amazing and It was the best video game experience I had in a long time so I thought I'd share.

Not going to lie I leave the base with my M4 fully built six 60 round magazines but I also do a lot of the fighting for the group that I play with and snipe I do tend to take out more ammo with me but it can be risk-reward I've been in a decent handful of fights where I've definitely needed that many mags but in my 1000 plus hours that's happened to maybe 5 or 6 times I guess I'm just one of those over-prepared guys or always have another contingency plan

Would you use the long double barrel for mid range encounters or strictly short?
