What i dont like about the G8 are the edges are so white and shiny, among other things
in a very dark room you can still see the edges, so i had to use black ducktape
❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьIt needs to be a folding screen so I can take it with me when I travel.
Ответить57" review please!
Ответитьstill playing on Omen X27 overdrive 4 - 1.77ms GtG - seeing no overshoot or inverse ghosting
ОтветитьGot the monitor for 1k during black friday :D
ОтветитьI've got the G8 but this seems too wide for me. I would be moving my head too much to see all parts of the screen. I don't have the room for it anyway unless I mount it on a wall.
ОтветитьSaying that not all games is compatible with the aspect ratio? Does that mean that its simply not going to work or it will still work but only display on a smaller portion of the screen?
ОтветитьWhy would you need black frame insertion on anything but 60?
ОтветитьFML this thing is currently on sale in my country and I don't have the space for it!
ОтветитьI wouldn't call 1080p SDR apps "perfctly fine" in 2024
ОтветитьI may have purchased one, but I never saw your review. Unfortunate samsung. Now I have to wait for the new generation of QD oled. Your loss samshit
ОтветитьHi! Great reviews! Can you make a video of the best mini led options for the people who want productivity + gaming which I would imagine constitute a big portion of the audience. The burn in tests on oled monitors were really worrying and im sure im not the only one
ОтветитьOn 2 RMA's so far within 1 year. Both times Power Supplies.
Ответитьthis or the
ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM for Warzone mainly?
think i need to wait for a 5080 gpu first
ОтветитьSo do the commoners call this one "2k" too?
ОтветитьI really wish there was a step between 21:9 and 32:9 in similar diagonal measurement.
ОтветитьYess im waiting for the aw32 im bout to buy it for ps5. I neeed to switch from tv to a monitor already
Ответить"conversly, dynamic content like gaming or watching videos is practically no risk of burn in" - ehem ehem GAMING HUDS ? ehem ehem
Ответитьreview the new alienware please mr monitors unboxed
ОтветитьALIENWARE 3225QF ?
ОтветитьCan I find out which card, combined with which processor, will provide Black Desert Online at 5120*1440 240 frames per second in the game? If Samsung releases such a monitor, then it seems to be ready to respond)
ОтветитьI have a stupid question... does the pixel layout make text in games look off too? Or is it only a Windows thing?
ОтветитьWould there be any chance of you reviewing the ASUS PG32UQXR? I know it has a higher price tag, but 4k 160hz, DP 2.1, MiniLED backlight, and high DCI-P3 coverage would be like heaven on earth for me and many others. A review from you is almost quite literally the only thing keeping me from snagging it.
ОтветитьWhat does a kvm switch within the monitor actually do? Like the built in ones, I don’t understand the actual kvm systems but don’t need them if monitors got them built in.. right??
ОтветитьI would be interested in your opinion on the choice between the G9 Neo and the G9 OLED
ОтветитьSamsung's quality control has gone down a lot over the past year. They refunded me for my 49" NEO G9 because of MOBO and other screen issues. I made the switch to Asus/LG and I don't think I'll go back to Samsung.
ОтветитьI'd love to see you review the 57" dual 4K G9.
ОтветитьIf it wasn't curved, I'd consider bying it.
ОтветитьWill you cover new Gigabyte AORUS CO49DQ?
ОтветитьDoes anyone know of any plans to release a 27" 16:9 QD-OLED monitor that runs at 4K/120+ Hz this year? I've only seen 32" models
ОтветитьBad review. No speakers test. NOT saying that on the factory firmware the sdr - peak brightness option is avaliable - and the 100% white screen is about 317 nits brightness instead of 250 on the updated firmware.
ОтветитьSurprisingly, I did not enjoy this one. Came from 21:9, but 32:9 specially with that mild curve was too uncomfortable for my taste. Looking forward to the asus 39inch 21:9.
ОтветитьPlease review the new LG 27GR95UM with Mini LED display!
ОтветитьWish MU would also check if the monitor is proprely cooled. my first LG 32GR93U literaly died probably of overheating, massive noise as brightness increase and fan noise after a few hours of usage.
The second after return was nearly the same. i opened the back cover, a small blower fan of laptop and the only the heatsink in the whole motherboard set is on the main ships that so hit that i cannot touch it without burn. small 20 cent aluminum heatsink.
Cooling would be implemented into review for counter planned obsolescence.
How good is smart calibration?
ОтветитьIs this monitor essentially the same as LS49CG954SEXXY in Australia?
ОтветитьAaaaand... it's out. Still no fix for Freesync HDR makes this a no-buy. From experience I didn't expect them to fix the G8 in the first place - but not even correcting that mistake with a newer product is just wasteful.
ОтветитьGo SASMSUNG oled G6 PLS
ОтветитьWhere are the settings used? Multiple times this review mentions how importqnt proper settings are but there are not clear deacriptions of those settings
ОтветитьSamsung has found a way to put TV information tracking into what I guess is one of their highest priced monitors. Even if I liked ultra wide gaming, I think I would pass. Samsung can keep their ads. Got rid of my Samsung phone for the same reason.
Ответитьthe alienware AW3423DW got a firmware update.
Ответитьcan you do benq ex2510 vs 2510s?
ОтветитьI love mine, although I got the one without the smart TV
ОтветитьCompanies have hastily jumped the gun on technology with OLED over the past few years! The Tec is NOWHERE near matured enough to be mainstream right now! I won't even contemplate blowing $1200 -$1500+ monitor that even in today's versions have been proven of late to still suffer from screen burn in tests, Awful fringing, reflections and other flaws!! This tec should be a 'NO GO RECOMMENDATION' That you've surprisingly pushed heavily for a couple of years now! I'll contemplate oled when my $1500 is actually worth it.
ОтветитьI’m looking to buy an ultrawide, and I’m interested in how the AOC 49inch offering stacks up against the Samsung and ASUS models, especially given the large price differential. Any chance on a video specifically looking at the 49 inch monitors Tim?
