Ответитьi remember when it cam out it was popular there was a whole group playing it in school
ОтветитьI love the rocky helmet and black sludge/leftovers
ОтветитьDont take my comment seriously because Im an asshole, but I hate the way you played this game. Also, everyone knows the greek gods are superior to the roman gods.
ОтветитьI looked away for a second, stopped paying attention, then the nintendo ds screen went off and my attention was CAUGHT
ОтветитьThe artwork for Dawn is so fire 🔥 your lying as a little kid if you say that you weren't thinking about piping her shit when Diamond and Pearl released 😏
Ответитьi love the naming conventions you've used where several of the pokemon are named after gods or mythical beings and then dialga is just Big Ben because time
ОтветитьLol “Harthum” I think it’s pronounced “Heart Home” 😂
ОтветитьJust gonna say... Definitely cana-la-ve
ОтветитьI just get a Feebas with the Pokè Walker you get with HG and SS. It’s the last area you unlock but at least it’s probably the easiest way to get Feebas at all
ОтветитьThat are Pokémon games that exist, I don’t like them 😒
ОтветитьYou just reminded me I lost that book and now I’m sad
ОтветитьVolk a ner. Omg. Volk-ner
ОтветитьI am predict future therewill be bad games on gen 13
ОтветитьI do love how you start to develop a new vocabulary for these videos based on these weird guides. “Hammer away”, “lay down the law”, “type trumping”, every time I hear these weird phrases, I can’t help but smile.
ОтветитьFunny, my Primeape's nickname in Leafgreen is Sun Wukong
Ответитьsweeped everything with Gyarados!!
ОтветитьI was born after these games released but my dad was and bought diamond my first pokemon experience was with diamond
Ответитьscreaming abt replacing budew when it's a friendship evo, you do so good regardless. loving binging these vids
Ответить"Piplup will evolve to have 12 resistances"
Actually, not quite. It has 10 type resistances (including Fairy, which wasn't introduced until XY so 9 resistances in DP), then immunity to Poison. It might've forgotten that while Water resists Fire, Fire's effective on Steel so it becomes neutral effectiveness, and reverse with Grass. Still a pretty decent defensive coverage with about half the types though.
I got feebas. I spent about 2 hours a day looking for one every day, for a week.
ОтветитьTurt-wig 💀
ОтветитьLater that year, Diamond and Pearl did in fact get remakes on the Switch, and they were widely panned; also, I remember seeing and hearing "ne'er-do-well" as a kid (usually pronounced as "NERR-doo-Well") and it seems like a contraction of "never-do-well" (maybe it died off after I and my fellow Millennials were kids).
Also, I was reminded of an especially odd contraction I once saw in a dictionary but never outside it: fo'c's'le. It's short for "forecastle" (a certain area in the front of a ship) and I've never seen that word outside of a dictionary either.
i always wondered why it was you called it type-trumping. this was enlightening.
ОтветитьWhen I first played Diamond, I actually pulled an anime move. I was battling Lucian’s Bronzong with my Buizel and I used Whirlpool then Ice Beam. I got lucky and Ice Beam froze it, and it was as if it was frozen inside the Whirlpool.
ОтветитьHis team:
Infernape
Kadabra
Whishcash
Dialga
Luxray
Staraptod
Bdsp are good games just bad remakes
ОтветитьWOAH THERE PAL, I see you flexing that SVR MLB
ОтветитьI am from the past:
What is a game?
But have you beat Pokémon as God intended?
ОтветитьI’d like to see Pokémon black
ОтветитьPhoenix isn’t a mythical bird anymore?
Actually it be pretty funny if you named it after the Pokémon legendary birds…..Zappos, articuno, moltres etc.
Fun factoid.
Sun woo Kong is Chinese and if you translate it to Japanese it’s goku.
Everyone being confused why you used hammering away so many times
ОтветитьPlatinum is better lol
Ответитьman knows abt hindu polytheism but not ne'er-do-well
lol
I’m also from the future an I have one of the remakes
ОтветитьI actually had that guide! My dad went ham on me for Christmas. All I wanted for Christmas was a DS Lite and Pokemon Diamond. And dad got me both Diamond and Pearl. A little holder case and extrA stylus. And this game guide! I spent so much time checking over the guide, making sure I got everything I needed
ОтветитьI love that you kept using the hammer quote from the first guide
ОтветитьCrobat is what I used for my Pluck Pokémon back in the day
ОтветитьI had this guide when I was a kid and it ticked me off that it didn't include any of the new Sinnoh pokemon that were only available in the National Dex. Naive me would've never realized there were more pokemon after beating the game with this guide. Only way I know was because the anime made a big deal about Electivire.
One day I got fed up, grabbed a notebook, and made a trek to the nearest Best Buy to find a Prima Guide (Part 2 of 2 because they also CBA to include post game in their first guide). I sat my butt down on the dirty floor of the store and copied down all the new evolution methods. An employee did notice me but he also knew me as the snot nosed kid who came around often to loiter and ogle video games that my broke child ass couldn't afford so he let me continue. Part of me thinks he understood the pain of diamond and pearl post game evolutions.
The kicker was that I didn't have the patience to find an Electirizer nor did I have any friends who played pokemon. Thus I was stuck a loser until Battle Revolution's secret codes blessed me with my king.
Anyway good video, 10/10, liking and subscribing
no because anything after Gen 3 is shit
