Omg bozzy, the history! Very excellent upload! D:
ОтветитьI used to use this car all the time in gran turismo 4 at infineon. Great memories :]
ОтветитьI remember seeing this in the 24 hours lemans, this car surely give the Toyota gt1 race car a run for its money just like the skyline gt1(r92) that's in this class of cars they are were quite a few Porsches had the gt1 race car as well
Ответитьfantastic imagem.. I apreciate under the engine cover ..TKS a lot
ОтветитьI love how it sounds like it's supposed to rev higher but only has a limit of around 7000rpm. That means PUNCHY TORQUE!
ОтветитьThis car racing in Le Mans is my childhood :) I was 13 back then and that's when I started to feel the magic of LM when watching it on TV.
Ответитьback when audis had a soul and a voice to sing their song..
ОтветитьI have a question regarding maintenance of older racing cars by privateers. What about parts (in general, from brakes, body parts, to engine parts)? Do they have them in stock, do they ask manufacturers to make them, do they make them by themself, do they keep it original or maybe swap with aftermarket parts? I'm sure there are some unique parts that you can't just buy. If anyone knows sth about it let me know. Thanks! And of course great video bozzy! ;)
ОтветитьNow i know where the Carrera GT rear design came from..
Ответить17 years later and still looks solid as a rock.
ОтветитьSeen this car at a Concours in 2015. I may have complained about them winning all the time in the early 2000s, but this car is why I now drive an Audi. Great video!
ОтветитьThis must ahve cost a fortune to buy and i doubt you can just run it, probably have to have Audi involved!
ОтветитьAudi R8 LMP 900 a true legend ...nice video!!
Ответитьmad to think that the 2017 lmp2's are now quicker than the 2000 lmp1's.
ОтветитьHi Bozzy. I really appreciate you guys posting these classic racecars, especially the garage scenes where you get up close and personal.👊 This Audi is a beautiful machine! One of your other commenters mentioned how far the gearbox technology has advanced in only a few years... so true. We've become so accustomed to lightning-fast shifts, that it's actually refreshing to hear that delay again.😎👍 Awesome work as always. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
ОтветитьThe car that killed Alboreto...
ОтветитьThat's the legend of a car. For example thanks to this car AUDI today won anther 24h of the Nurburgring.
ОтветитьIt's funny how now, the aero on the back looks remarkably simple!
Ответитьi appreciate your work
you guys feed our's hunger soo well
btw soo sad that audi left le mans
please come back :(
An absolute game-changer for sportscar racing. Thanks for the video, Bozzy.
ОтветитьI have an Actual Wheel, from the UnDefeated 2008 Audi R8 LMP
ОтветитьThat moment when you realize this car is nearly 20 years old.
ОтветитьYou are awesome man ive been watching your videos since you started. Ive almost watched all your videos and liked all that i have watch your great man keep the sounds coming!!!
ОтветитьThanks Bozzy, one of my all time favorite sports cars, great video as always!
ОтветитьGran Turismo 4 :]
ОтветитьBrings back a few memories does that....
ОтветитьThis was a semi-automatic sequential, right? Im wondering because the gear changes are slow enough to the point of making it seem like a fully manual gearbox, but im almost sure it is't. Though now im starting to wonder...
Also, you can see by the driver's head movement that every gear change seems like an absolute neck breaker.
how are the axles spinning with no throttle?
ОтветитьOld school Audi with the open cockpit. 19 years old and still awesome!
ОтветитьBrad Kettler still works/services these cars.
ОтветитьHow much rpm does that car? Thanks for the answers
Ответитьaudi lmp il son formidable et incroyable
Ответить4'500'000 damn credits!
ОтветитьMy boy
Ответитьthis car on racing games and sim, made me cure myself from depression
ОтветитьThis and the Bentley Speed-8 is my Gran Turismo 4 childhood. Oh man, the memories.
ОтветитьBeautiful car from the 2000s early 👌
ОтветитьAbsolute gorgeous car, really wish they made a road model like the GT One, I fell in love at first sight.
ОтветитьDevono ancora spiegarci com' è morto Alboreto...
ОтветитьDoesnt look like a car from 20 yrs ago! Beautiful and futuristic
ОтветитьBoa noite meu Amigo !!!!
Lindo demais.
Absolutamente fantástico.
Saudades da época que ele dominava as pistas.
Só saudades.....
Muito obrigado pelo vídeo e parabéns pelo canal.
Abraço do Brasil.....
Back to a time in which LMP1 was popular, when the FIA GT Championship was a thing, and Audi dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
ОтветитьThese days this is considered a simple racecar, back then it was viewed like a spaceship
ОтветитьI always been imagine... Always.
How could be a battle between this one Vs the Porsche 962C (Rothmans)
I always thought the R8 looked like shit. The R15 on the other hand, absolutely stunning.
ОтветитьGT4 infineon flashbacks
Ответить👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьReally hard to envision the R8 LMP being a 24 year old design. Man, not just their road cars, but even Audi's race cars have a timeless and elegant feel to them.
ОтветитьImagine a car that dominated one of the 3 most prestigious races of all times numerous times that a road legal supercar of the same brand shares the same name.
