He is gonna be pushing 24. He isn't even at his peak
ОтветитьMy shot put was 24.22 m. But no one noticed. I was practicing at night and had a measuring band with me and I couldn't believe it, but the band showed 24.22 m. I can't prove it, because I did not record it. But I swear, it's true.
ОтветитьPerfect combination of size, speed and power!! Dear God!! Respepct from Finland!! ❤❤❤
ОтветитьSpoiler he beat his wr today...
ОтветитьHe just threw 23,51 during WCH in Budapest in the last round, this man is UNBELIEVABLE.
ОтветитьAmazing combination of power, balance and speed. He makes throwing a 16 pound shotput look like a baseball
ОтветитьWhat an incredible athlete
ОтветитьYou never mentioned his new style of throw.
ОтветитьI think me can all agree the Crouser is the GOAT, but there is rarely a time where you see an athlete so damn good that you can’t imagine someone breaking their records. I think Crouser will hit 24m, retire, and nobody will ever break the record.
ОтветитьYeah but Ulf Timmmerman did close to that 35 years ago and there was no GH back then ……Werner Gunther on today’s chemistry would throw 24 plus easy
ОтветитьI wonder if a weighted free hand would allow more speed in the shot put hand? To counter balance. E.g. a weight wrist strap.
ОтветитьImagine his punch power!
ОтветитьThe Amazing Thing is we know this Young Man Still Has not Reached his Peak !! An 80ft. Shot Put Heave Could Easily be on the Horizon !! Crouser is methodically becoming the Bob Beamon of The Shot Put !! He's just on another Level !!!....
ОтветитьBut seriously. Why isn't this guy an offensive lineman?
ОтветитьCrouser is an absolute monster; I've been following his exploits for awhile. It's unfortunate that the shot put isn't a "glamorous" track and field event because what he is doing is the stuff of legends.
ОтветитьBro weighs 205kg or 451lbs ? 🤔 lol
ОтветитьThese videos are so annoying, the clips don’t seem to match the commentary and you rarely see the shot hit the ground, mad and frustrating.
ОтветитьAnother remarkable thing about that series: Crouser's SHORTEST throw in the series was 22.80. Only six guys, not including Crouser, have thrown farther than that! If he's underrated, it's because track and field is not so popular in the USA. It was sad to see how few people attended that meet (at my alma mater, no less).
ОтветитьI still hold my high school shot put record from 1970. Respect to Ryan the greatest shot putter of all time!
ОтветитьWell well well.. what a shame, that Balco doesn't exist anymore.. I wonder where American athletes get their vitamins nowadays...
ОтветитьI went to school with Ryan's uncle...Brian Crouser. Remarkable Field athlete as well. It was an honor to watch him dominate the competition. America's first throwing family! They should all be honored! Keep going Ryan! You make America proud!
ОтветитьGreat video! But you should have mentioned Joe Kovacs in the 23m range and he certainly doesnt weigh 205kg bodyweight??? Maybe 145
ОтветитьGreatest record was Jacob ingebristen 2 mile record yesterday
ОтветитьI think the question is, will he break the 24 meter barrier this year?
ОтветитьThis generation's "Jan Zelezny". They'll have to change the venue just for this guy.
ОтветитьPhenom
ОтветитьLoved the video but I was really hoping for a breakdown of his new technique, they talked about it in his interview but it’s hard for me to notice the difference, it’s all so fast 😅
ОтветитьHe's big, but he's not jacked.
ОтветитьWhen Ryan Crouser retires shot put he can go on to be a powerlifter and or world strongest man at a world-class level.
ОтветитьYeah, him saying hes still lifting heavy means hes still strength training. Still eating big and lifting big. Not ideal for speed.
In bodybuilding, that would be someone looking something like CBum IN THE FINALS but in mid winter while hes bulking. When Ryan actually cuts some weight snd focuses on speed, if he gets a few timed up perfectly hes going to put the records almost out of touch.
Probably would be a pretty highly paid left tackle with his athleticism
ОтветитьWoulda made a helluva tight end.
ОтветитьSick mullet
Ответить“I am honestly….speechless.” Proceeds to speak.
ОтветитьIf I held it with two hand... stood backwards, and did the catapult launch over my head from between my legs.... I'd throw it 35 feet and hurt my back in the process.
ОтветитьLmao "gargantuan-ly massive"...This dude's language is sooo exaggerated and repetitive on every video, he just looks up synonyms for "huge" and "best ever" and fills his script with whatever comes up
ОтветитьI know nothing about the shot put, but you can just tell by the speed of his arm at release that he's going to mash it.
ОтветитьAnd he has just tweaked his technique again. So who know how far he will go.
ОтветитьWhy is that record historic?
ОтветитьThe Fosbury flop, the Crouser slide.
ОтветитьThe last world record that people thought would last for centuries is his “average” throw
ОтветитьYou know your the greatest in your discipline when your competitors are like okay so were all fighting for second.
Ответитьwent to HS with this beast lol. Go Bruins!
ОтветитьI'm not sure how he can be both "underrated" and "Arguably the greatest shot-putter of all time" at the same time.
ОтветитьYour videos are amazing and this is sick that you also share some throwing videos 🤝🤝
ОтветитьOregon is proud of it's native son!!
ОтветитьIf you were "honestly speechless" you would have nothing to say. You are lying again. It's become a habit and you should stop this endless stream of hyperbole. It's not clever or authentic. Give it up. Choose reasonable terminology; your followers will certainly increase.
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьYou forgot to mention that in that post interview, he said that he's changed his motion as well, and is still trying to get the timing down so he's not reverting back to his old form. He's not full-speed at training, while still perfecting his new technique, and he blew past his old record by 7 inches, and hit the back wall on one bounce. He's insane.
Ответить
