Lets be honest though. It got people into fpv.
But also destroyed the hype of fpv in the process lol
No an 800+ dollar drone is never a good beginner drone. Especially FPV drones. It couldn't handle a minor mishap without breaking beyond repair.
ОтветитьBubby's mom super cute/
ОтветитьMan you are a beast 💪 bro man I can't believe the things u can make that thing do thank you for the video 🙏
Ответить👍🏼 This was a GREAT video! Watching “Mama Bubby” fly the DJI FPV Potato Drone with relative ease convinced me to con my wife and daughter to fly. It did NOT work out all that well… it ended up at the bottom of a nearby lake.
I gave the Mavic-3 and Mini 3 Pro a shot with the same terrified gals. Zero luck with the RC-Pro or the included RCN1 controller.
When the Avata was released, I figured I’d give it a shot with the motion controller and with the Controller 2 radio.
They still did not enjoy the experience..
Surprisingly enough, the Motion 2 “Marital Aid” did a phenomenal job at getting novice pilots flying great in recent time.
The DJI Avata is somewhat indestructible. My Avata has hit numerous trees and buildings with only a rare prop replacement being required.
On the other hand, the DJI FPV Drone is VERY FRAGILE! The repair parts are difficult to come by and the costs are quite high as to be expected.
Thanks for a great video — As always!
You guys being so excited by this FPV when first trying it was very fun to see
ОтветитьHere in Australia you are not allowed to use FPV drones outside designated model sport clubs - as soon as you go anywhere public and use the goggles they are illegal to use due to limited VLOS (visual line of sight). You can fly them indoors for sport or recreation with no permission.
Yet you can buy an fpv with no issues - no questions and no licence - for now. You can apply for a licence to use it recreationally however you are locked to one location - still no public areas and they charge you to apply.
This DJI FPV Drone combo was my first Drone and I must say I am hooked. I want to buy the Mini Pro 3 now to have a screen style camera Drone next. DJI Really should add the flight info that is in the goggles to the phone or tablets screen running the DJI fly app, that way you could hang the google on a tripod an fly none fpv also.
ОтветитьI absolutely love the drone… But I am so scared of crashing it.
ОтветитьIf you crash this drone..your done...can't take crashes it will break
ОтветитьI’ve had mine for 2 weeks now. Countless hours in the sim, and I’m flying around in manual. The best way to think about it is as a hybrid drone. I can still throw it in sport mode and hover around the skatepark filming friends. Then get home, and rip across the fields at 80 mph. Shoot up 300 ft and start flipping around. No way I’ll be shooting gaps in parking garages, but it definitely has a place.
ОтветитьAwesome.
Ответить@ 24 mins. In vid (Turtle Mode Is On There)
ОтветитьGreat share! Beautiful review!
ОтветитьRoto Riot you guys fly so awesome.
I fly every single day.
I been building cool stuff too 😎
Yup bad ass stuff.
This Dji fpv is so sweet for everyone 😍
You will love the way you fly I guarantee it
Did you guys flown it with normal dji rates? I think mine dji movements in pitch and rolls feels so slow in acro mode. Any suggest whats the best rates would be for this fpv?
ОтветитьThis is AWESOME!! I want to
See Tommy
Watching Bubby's mom scream with happiness was the wholsemne never knew I needed...
ОтветитьOk, somebody be real with me. I’m just getting into this drone stuff. I mean, I own 2 literal POS toys because I don’t want to wreck a high dollar (for me) drone. I’m pretty excited because it’s the first thing I’ve legit been excited about in a while. I need to know: is this hobby/profession full of arrogant, naysayers like in these comments? Maybe I should slow my roll.
ОтветитьOne year later...
I remember seeing an FPV quad video maybe 5-6 years ago and immediately going, "where can I buy one of those?!?!?!" and then found out you pretty much had to build the things from scratch. I'm not a scientist, not an engineer, I barely understand electricity (things turn on, I use them), and building one was beyond my abilities (and to be honest, really didn't want to put in the time to learn how).
I pretty much didn't give another thought to FPV until a month ago when I saw a video about the DJI FPV pop up on my YT feed. I had to own one. Immediately ordered it on Amazon. Within 1 week I had it on acro mode doing flips and rolls. Two weeks after that I was doing inverted yaw spins, rubiks cubes, mattyflips (all thanks to Drew). Three weeks later I had my first crash and broke an arm.
Suffice it to say I drank the whole jug of Kool-Aid and I'm hooked. I'm now looking for a "real" freestyle BNF quad that I can really rip on. But without the DJI FPV, this whole hobby would still have been out of reach to me.
Shout out to Drew, Joshua, and the rest of the Rotor Riot crew for easing my way into the world of FPV.
WHAT IS NEXT STEP AFTER THIS DRONE THEN?
ОтветитьHi Rotor Riot. I recently bought a dji fpv drone but couldn't solve the binding problems. Can you please have a look at the video and suggest what is going wrong? plzzzz 😩 @
ОтветитьIdear
ОтветитьI wish you guys could do some footage of the Canadian Truckers protesting. That could be a once in a lifetime footage?
ОтветитьAll FPV moms are so hawt!
ОтветитьLooks like the forbidden fruit of a night of passion between Terminator and Alien
ОтветитьI love that you can use the switch as a panic switch. Like planes.. 👍
Ответитьits funny to watch you this completely sponsored video :D
Dis drone is not good for beginners, simply because if you crash it, its done and you just trashed like 1,5k$.
This will definitly demotivate anyone who doesn't shit Money :D
You guys are awesome. I just got this drone, I'm a total beginner. This is my first drone. Thanks for the review and tips. If you both like it, I know I made a good call!
ОтветитьI have had a few DJI drones and about 3 fpv quads over the years. I always start in angle mode and go into horizon but never made it to flying full acro all the time before inevitably crashing them and not knowing what or how to fix it. When I saw this I was sold. I've had it 2 weeks and with the simulator, warranty and panic button I'm in full acro all the time. After crashing my last $500 rtf kit I swore I was done with quads but I just love the hobby. This thing literally got me back into fpv and you can fly it in beginner mode and take great gimbal photos too. Jack of all trades but a master of none and I couldn't be happier
ОтветитьA really fun video to watch. Your excitement is contagious...
ОтветитьBuddy mom is hot 🔥
ОтветитьLmfao. She was so excited… he was already checking on the drone lol
ОтветитьHe shoulda stoped at imma break all the components….. lol
ОтветитьAssistances? (Assists)
ОтветитьThank you from an old guy (71) who got his Mavic last year this is the way to get into FPV. You guys are great! I will never be able to do what you do, but it's fun to watch you!
ОтветитьSuper geflogen 👌👌
ОтветитьYour FPV Mama is awesome Bubby.
Good energy radiating from her.
Nah , Plastic body 🤔 nah . It will get destroyed if it accidentally hits a wall while flying . Fpv drones drone bodies are metal not plastic . Its a shit drone sorry
ОтветитьI think I'm gonna buy myself one. I have quite a few analog rigs of all different sizes. However I recently bought a dji mini 2 for a beach vacation and was blown away by the occusync. I'm gonna go for the combo mainly for the goggles but I'm quite impressed by the drone itself.
ОтветитьSell outs. Rotor trash
ОтветитьAwesome I can not wait to get my dji fpv.
ОтветитьThe amount of batteries they must have gone threw to fly through dusk lol
ОтветитьGreat tips guys, sports mode thank you. More more
ОтветитьI am getting this drone, the DJI mini is officially out of date.
