ОтветитьI f**king love flip! You guys did great with this. Really meant alot to all of us.but!……I think we are all too afraid out of respect to call flip out on the helical part of the ar heart conversation haha great stuff guys thank you so much 🙏
ОтветитьStu Apte, Lefty, Flip, were my heros and still are at 76yr old. I have never taken the chance to do the inshore fly fishing that i adore. I still fish gills and smb and dream of the inshore salt fly fishing.
ОтветитьYou should do Barry Meyer he’s a true legend in the keys !!
ОтветитьFrom my very earliest memories till I was about 7or8 Walkers cay was this mythical place that I would hear my dad talk about with my uncles and his close friends. And how he would every once in a while disappear for a week every now and then to this mysterious place. Making that run in a 20’ Grady white with a 135 Johnson. I always had one of those “it’s better in the Bahamas” t shirts for my entire childhood. I couldn’t wait to watch the show every week.
ОтветитьSimple wisdom and exponential life lessons! This just truly makes my heart happy!
ОтветитьThe King!
ОтветитьExcellent episode
ОтветитьSuch a chillaxing podcast.. Love it. Knowledge and smooth voice.. Flip is so easy to listen to.
ОтветитьAs a kid growing up in the inner city, I watched Flip, Lefty, Jose, Andy, George on the weekends instead of watching cartoons….To see the places they’d fish, set the spark to fish and go on adventures. I’m not I’m not the only one
ОтветитьI'm going to guess those arrow fletcher are eastern wing feathers
ОтветитьWatching Andy, Phil, and a host of others is what got me inspired to fish…….
Ответить“ Clean Sweet Water” does he mean sugar runoff?
ОтветитьNature ants creatures, Gods gift to man
ОтветитьI've watched a lot of these Mill House interviews and they are great. One thing I usually want to hear more about is the anglers relationship with the natural world, if you talk about someones ecological efforts I am probably supportive but if you talk about someones fascination and love of their waters I will be engaged. Fundamentally these are people fascinated by figuring out a whole system of animal behavior in incredible dynamic environments like the keys or the everglades, watched it intimately over years and years, and I wish that got more value in the conversations.
ОтветитьThis kind of attitude and perspective is what I need to get back to in life. Going to get back into nature
ОтветитьTo live fully in the moment provides exhilaration that ties us to our present, and for many it's the only part of life worth living for...
ОтветитьAmazing, thank you Flip, Thank you Andy .
ОтветитьWhat a natural outdoorsman. Truly enjoys And appreciations God’s world. This is what God expected us to do. I enjoy his narration of SEC “ Saturday’s In The South”
He is the best natural storyteller.
Hoyt Axton was the Dad in gremilins that bought the Mogwai from the Asian kid.
ОтветитьGrowing up as a kid who had no idea about flats fishing….I absolutely loved his show. Never missed an episode. Awesome story on this podcast
ОтветитьGreat conversation gentlemen. Thank you
ОтветитьThe best thing about this is flip is utsta hearing this every day is the cardinal
Ответить❤️what a wonderful man that all of us outdoorsmen should aspire to be like.
ОтветитьWould give everything to spend a day on the water with this guy, absolutely loved this episode.
ОтветитьI could listen to flip talk all day. Walkers cay is why I started fly fishing. Thanks Andy!
ОтветитьWe need a Chico part 2!!!!
Ответитьhis respect for nature and wisdom with the important aspects of life put him in another league of true sportsmen
Ответитьwhat a great episode , what a humble man
ОтветитьAbsolutely love it. 2 Legends. Follow your heart. Great advice! Keep up the great work.
ОтветитьMet Mr. Pallot in my store in Montana back in 1990's, and we talked about fine traditional bows. A true outdoorsman. Very well done - Thanks for the podcast.
ОтветитьStill mesmerizing to listen to Flip just like it was the first time I saw Walkers Cay way back. A wise, caring, smart man.
ОтветитьMORNING FLIP IVE TRULY MISSED YOU AND YOUR PUBLICATIONS . TOO MANY MANGO SEASONS HAVE COME AND GONE, YET HERE WE ARE I WISH WE COULD HAVE SPENT SOME TIME TOGETHER. SLIPPING IN THE BACK DOOR TO 80.A LOT OF WONDERFUL MEMORIES COLLECTED AND STORED YET KEPT CLOSE AT HAND.TOUCH BASE WITH ME IF YOU GET A MOMENT.
ОтветитьI am 72 and well realizing the finish line is close. I had cervical surgery 18 months ago. I have some walking issues and balance. They are not totally gone but challenged. I have a 21’ bay boat I share with my son and grandson. I can get on the frond deck with a hand. I am ok until chop comes then need a leaning seat. I am perfectly happy on the deck. My son and grandson push me to stay up on the deck. I could fish alone but cannot get out the boat over the front during loading process. I have watched all I could of your adventure since my early years God bless Flip for taking me on so many adventures.
ОтветитьJust awesome! Thanks
ОтветитьAt 53 am I to old to be considered for the Flip Pallot mentor program? I am proficient at poling a skiff and have never been late to the ramp.
ОтветитьYou have that problem in South Florida
ОтветитьAwesome video!
ОтветитьFlip is such a modest man... And for that reason I dont know if he would agree with what im about to say next... But they just dont make em like Flip anymore...
ОтветитьMy allll time favorite fisherman!!! The walkers cay chronicles was my inspiration!!!
ОтветитьThis is an invaluable service you both are providing, interviewing all these icons. It is very much appreciated. Nikki, I see one interview that has yet to be done that I feel is equally as important for his contribution to fishing and as an American icon. That is your dad. The story of Andy Mill needs to be told as well. In many respects, Andy's life is, even more, a microcosm of the American experience and as such is important to be brought to an existing and new audience.
ОтветитьMerry Christmas 🎁🎄, I watched this yesterday again, got hooked on walker’s, boy that’s a 25 or more year’s ago lol 🎄🎄🎄🎄🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
ОтветитьClip's a moron !!!!
ОтветитьAbsolute living Legand! Me and all my friends grew up watching walkers cay chronicles. My friends dad was a guide in biscayne bay and Islamorada Capt. Ken Collette who took us fishing as young kid the rest is history!
ОтветитьFlip is a national treasure.
ОтветитьI can't believe I haven't seen this till today , I watched him when he started his shows and he's a large part on why I moved to Florida some 30 years ago, I'm listening to flip describe his journey and our lives have a really uncanny similarity flip has about 4 or 5 years on me , I'm really kicking myself because I had a chance to meet him at one of the local tackle shops and missed out ,I would have liked to thank him for the inspiration he injected into me even to this day, ya flip your on my bucket list .
ОтветитьGreat interview Andy and Nick! Flip has been an inspiration to me as a traditional archer and fly-fisherman. Top notch guys!
ОтветитьHe certainly doesn’t understand the impact he made on many young and old fly fisherman. So many years of watching...I feel like I really know him. Thanks for the interview. Jeff Varner
ОтветитьThere's non-human on Earth I relate more than to Flip Pallot. Thanks for such an amazing sit down with him.
ОтветитьThese Millhouse podcasts are national treasures.
