Is GTX 1660 Super much faster than this 3 cards ?

Bit odd to compare the big 5500XT cards with a completely differently designed 1650S...would have taken the 1650S Strix model you have already tested before for comparing it to those 5500XT. Also a metal backplate, two fans, comparable size, and so on. Would have made this much better.

But thanks anyway, besides that it was a great and useful comparison betwen 5500XT and 1650S. Leaving a like for that!

1650S will get my nod. Cheaper and lower power consumption. Cheaper cost of ownership with 5% less performance than the 5500xt.

You cant have a big picture overview using the DX11 API, as far as investment. DirectX 12 is now the standard API for next-generation and its features will be fully utilized. With the exception of few, current titles list DirectX 12 as an option only because it's required for Ray Tracing. It's not like comparing an Engine programmed from the ground up solely on DirectX 12. NVIDIA seems to continue to underperform with most DirectX 12 titles so its evident that AMD RX cards are more efficient per CU with this API. Also, NVIDIA cant fix that with "drivers" considering one of the major purposes of the advanced API is to eliminate driver overhead - we keep hearing "driver" issues from NVIDIA with recent DirectX 12 titles. DirectX 11 was suppose to be out the cycle a long time ago but i have a feeling NVIDIAs inefficiency with any advanced API had something to do with that. The complaints we get here at Ubisoft Red, here in Raleigh NC, back that theory based on the Xbox One SDK being gimped by the dated API.

This is awesome, but I find it frustrating that you move the position of the graphs for the cards. I get what you are trying to do, top is best performance bottom is worst peformance, but it makes it difficult to follow along; I need to reorient myself for each graph.

I wouldn't be surprise if the Rx 5500xt get betters than the 1650 Super as the time goes by. I hope it will, to compensate for it's cost which is higher than the 1650 Super.

In my local store, Zotac's 1650 Super OC is about 8 - 10 USD cheaper from the Gigabyte 4gb Triple Fan 5500XT. These are my two choices. I'm leaning towards triple fan coz I like the way it looks but performance wise, I think they are pretty much the same. I just wonder tho if x8 vs x16 is really a big deal?

Someone interested in a PCI Express 4.0 video card will not be running an Intel system .

1650 Super all the way and it's cheaper too. Got the MSi version last year for my HTPC.
