Everything we need, we have offers. But the budget restraint will affect all these. We have 8 fighter jets for mrca, offer for both conventional and nuclear subs, Indian shipyards are ready to build another air craft carrier, artilleries and attack helicopters pending order. Atleast 100 billion additional over next 10-15 years will be needed over and above defence budget.

DRDO should understand s400 and try to make s500 and so on. Everytime we are going to buy everything from everybody is no rationale. Till now the delivery of whole squadrons of s400 is not complete and we are talking about s500. Atleast use this s400 first and see weather it is ok or not. Does it solve our purpose or not. Can s400 be made s500 or s600 by buying the software or other least components. I'm sure these systems are not cheap as per their claims. Like su30 to super sukhoi upgradation. Otherwise su35 is expensive.

France is definitely a trusted partner without any doubt, but most equipments of France are a bit costly, they should reduce the cost inorder to be more close to India

A few days back.. I have heard that the payment for s400 was due and delivery would be delayed.. if aiming to get s500, let's pay the due amount first. India Shud focus on drone technology.

Don't you all feel France is showing extra favours towards India. It doesn't want India to get inclined towards USA. Right now India is in a better position to negotiate for better platforms and extract best out of it for national interest. Only one thing. We should take the decisions in the proper time frame.

I don't think p75 alpha SSN is 6000 tonne category, it might be between 8000-13000 tonne category. Since the nuclear reactor is based on Russia 190MW reactor, displacement might also be similar to ins chakra, and same reactor powering S5 class ssbn which has expected displacement of 13500 tonnes

S-500 is a good choice for India as it will heavily compliment the existing S-400 and the upcoming BMD as well. Since BMD is a completely stationary system having a mobile system will allow more capabilities. This addition won't hamper BMD but compliment it.
