Nah 488 GTB looks far sexier than anything 458 ever did and LFA AND LAMBO has far more better sound than 458 so those haters need to come up with better excuses to clown 488.
488 smokes italia everywhere.

I have a 458 Italia and absolutely love it and will not sell it. Never had a Speciale but one day I will. I owned a 488 GTB for a couple of years and loved it as well. Much better car than the 458 in every way except for the sound. I sold the GTB and now have a Pista. Just retardedly fast and can never be fully exploited on the road...!

A friend of mine has just brought a 488, incredible performance and I don't think I've been in anything faster and drop dead gorgeous looks, in fact there's nothing I don't like about it BUT 4 weeks in and it's broken down 3 times already and he use's it every day, when it works....He's not best pleased for his 170k!

You CANNOT compare a $600,000.00 Speciale with a stock 488. Just shows you how great the 488 is, faster, better cornering than a $600k car, for proper comparison use the 488 Pista, the “Speciale” version of the 488. I was walking my blue eyed Siberian huskies in Aberdeenshire about 2 months ago, probably exuding raunchy confidence with nonchalant indifference to my scandalous female sex appeal, when a Ferrari 488 GTB with the reg KT approached. I saluted the driver for their exquisite veehicular taste and the Ferrari driver blipped the throttle in acknowledgement. Another boring automatic. F40 was a manual with a third pedal. Emission requirements is diminishing the fun in modern cars. The real problem are third world nations manufacturing for multinationals. 24/7 carbon exhaust blowing all over the world. Diesel generators kick in when the primary ones turn off. Greedy corporations and needy countries are destroying our planet not the visceral responsive thrilling cars we use to drive in countless choices.

This review is a little unfair. He keeps comparing this car to the 458 Speciale, when he should be comparing it to the standard 458.

The 458 sounds way fucking better than the 488, at least on this video.

Why are they comparing the 488 to the 458 Speciale? The 488 should be compared to the 458. When the 488 Speciale comes out then they should compare that to the 458 Speciale.

Why is he comparing this 488 gtb to the 458 Speciale? Shouldn't the 488 gtb be compared to the 458 Italia? And wait to compare the 488 Speciale to the 458 Speciale?

I would take the Huracan over the 488 simply based on sound alone and redline. I was disappointed to see only 7500 on the dial. I think the 458 went to 9000 or thereabouts

Is it me or doesnt this ferrari sound different from other ferrari's? They used to sound F1 ish but this is something else. Ofcourse the F40 doesnt sound anything like it either. But the 458 sounded better.

They got rid of the 458 too early. This new 488 doesn't look as good as the 458.
