I bought the system a month ago, and i'm not happy with it.
I play bass and and a bit of backing vocal.
Have tried beyer, jbl and Sennheiser headphones and there is an irretating distortion in the deep register.
I have tried lowering the level to the transmitter.
Tried with thin sounding bass.
Nothing helps.
I will probably go back a cablet Behringer box, which works fine.
I always appreciate your time and explanations! Thank you much
ОтветитьGreat video. I have some move ear buds. When I use it with in ear the ear buds give such a sharp sound. Will this nux be better? I can't stand to listen to my bass. I hear every string sound. Very annoying since this is not what the speakers are doing. Thanks for any suggestions... Now to send you a thanks!
ОтветитьWatched the video few months ago and went for the purchase. They arrived but I have few concerns. On aux (xr16) they are much more quiet than on phones out and compared to the cellphone, even more. Also a small short hiss is noticable in the initial attack of guitar.
Any sugestion would be apreciated.
Thanks
I could really use his for my gigs and get rid of the wired system, which gets in the way of my playing (especially when it gets stuck on my drum throne leg!)
Ответитьi have 2.4 and 5.8 wifi at home, will it cause any interference if some other device is connected to the 5.8 signal?
ОтветитьGood looking product, great review
ОтветитьThanks so much, Scott has been looking for this for my single and duo gigs. Perfect Thank you again
ОтветитьI have bought this system and here is my opinion :
When I tried it at home it absolutely SUCKED. As many people say in the comment section, the sound is very distorted. I connected it to my Scarlett 2i2 and the output jack of my Macbook and I got the same results. A few days later I used it to rehearse with my band. It was connected to a mixer (a Soundcraft EFX8) and still sounded the same, but my ears got used to the bad sound quality really quickly. It didn't bother me at all during the rehearsal.
Finally I used it at a small show and guess what: It sounded GREAT. I can't explain why, but maybe it's because of the "poor" quality of the gear I used this system with at home and during the rehearsal. The venue had a high end mixing console, so for me that's the reason.
I hope this can help someone take a decision :)
(English is not my native tongue, sorry if I made some mistakes)
Can we use two of this set transmitter and receiver in all the same time and will not have any issues like connectivity or what so ever?
ОтветитьDebra ER-mini in ear monitor system...
Really hope you can review those✌️✌️✌️✌️
What you prefer this one or Xvive U4?
ОтветитьHello Scott, what about Sound quality? Transparency? What about watching a movie or listening to music with my expensive IEM? Do you think this will be good enough? Or is it only to get the job done for musician monitoring? Did you notice any hiss or distortion? also, the 5.5 ms latency accurate and deliver as the say? thanks, buddy.
ОтветитьI was about to press "purchase" on the xvive and decided to check and see what all you reviewed and found this. Bought the Nux instead (used your purchase link!)
ОтветитьBEWARE. The sound quality is trash! The sound of my bass breaks up even after adjusting settings and many others on Amazon had the same experience. Also has LOTS of white noise! Don’t think this reviewer is being honest.
ОтветитьFinally an honest review! Thank you for your knowledge and input, I'm looking into buying one and this video helped 🙏
ОтветитьI got these from watching this video however they sound awful with so many artefacts. Do you think they sound good? Maybe I have a faulty set
ОтветитьWhat is the latency?
Ответитьgreat review thanks - I'll probably buy them
ОтветитьI have a BIG question please help! In theory, I have a 9 member band. I need 3 different monitor mixes. If I have 3 transmitters and 9 receivers. Can I pair 3 receivers to 1 transmitter for one mix and so on for the other groups of 2 transmitters with 3 receivers? I know this is possible on the Xvive system since you can select which channel to connect the receiver to but would something like this be achievable on the Nux system given it's only auto scan? Please help! Thank you!
ОтветитьI’ve been using these as well as their 5.8 ghz wireless guitar system for about 8 months now. They’ve been awesome, no drops, great range and battery life.
ОтветитьLove it
ОтветитьI know you mention a digital mixer and router in your video, but will these also function with an analog mixer and no router?
ОтветитьCan you pair more than one receiver with the transmitter?
ОтветитьHey Scott, after watching your videos I’m torn between this model and the Xvive u4. I would be plugging this isn’t the headphone out of my xr18 for front of house headphones. My router is also on 5g and in the rack right above. The biggest selling point of this is the charging case. Between the two, which would you say you prefer? Thanks!
ОтветитьThanks for the video. Can two or more members in your band use these without the signal paths crossing?
ОтветитьWould this work for podcasting?
ОтветитьHave you ever used the Nux in an acoustic duo setup? My wife and I have an acoustic duo and we dó not use backing tracks. We're looking to switch to in-ear monitors. Actually, she would be the one needing a wireless IEM as I'd use a wired one. We're considering between Nux and Xvive. Her microphone is an Audio-Technica System 10, operating at 2.4GHz with scanning, and we've never had any issues with it. I play guitar through a cable. Previously used a Line 6 G10, but had many dropout problems. That's why I'm considering the Nux, as it operates at 5.8GHz, though I read it's recommended for band environments. Is it very noisy in a guitar-vocal setup? Have you ever experienced dropout issues with Xvive? Just to add, we are full-time musicians performing in hotels.
ОтветитьGood afternoon... on other channels they talk about noise and distortion in the equipment. did you observe that??? thank you
ОтветитьI recently got the NUX and I love it but I am having problems when it’s connected to my HX Stomp. I’m hearing loud background pink noise and it’s very distracting. When I plug it into something else, there is no problem. Is there a solution to this?
ОтветитьIf I use altogether with NUX C-5RC, will the signal be crashed?
ОтветитьMaybe for something like this it does not matter, but what are your thoughts if you need support from NU-X? My only experience with them is with an mg30 I bought a year ago, and it was not good simply because they are non responsive and do not return calls. Support from them or lack thereof is my one concern on the surface. Can you respond to that and also advise if you had any problems with the connection dropping? Great video!
ОтветитьHey man, this one or XVIVE U4? Does any of them have something superior or are they equally good?
ОтветитьWhen they make one that supports stereo (two inputs) I’ll be interested. Although this would be good for fly dates where you only get a mono ear mix
ОтветитьThanks Scott for this and all your efforts. On this particular item, if you are using it and suddenly you get interference, will it automatically do a rescan, or must you turn it off, and back on?
ОтветитьI’m kinda between the NUX or the Phoenix Pro PTM-11 for my first IEM system. Which do you think is the better to go with?
ОтветитьGreat video. I wish they opted for 1/4" build in and an XLR adapter.
ОтветитьNice job!
You present in a way that makes it truly interesting and fun..
Gracias por la Info
ОтветитьMy unit is horribly noisy - anyone else have this issue?
ОтветитьI have been thnking about going wireless in ears (again) for a while, and this looks perfect for what I need. I have just stumbled on your channel, now am subscribed, and really REALLY like your fast, in depth (and working musician who can use good but affordable gear) reviews. Glad I found your channel. I bet there are a lot more tips you have that will work for me. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьI tried one today but only got sound on the left
ОтветитьI like the attitude!😊
ОтветитьDefinitely going to look into these. My girlfriend is a professional working musician, has been for over a decade, I’m an amateur who just played his first dive bar cover band gig this weekend lol. Everyone I know uses XVive, Shure and SennHeiser, and tells me that IEMs are the best thing since sliced bread. I’m hoping to learn how to use them soon and maybe pick up a pair for myself.
ОтветитьHi, After 7 months; how the system has aged ? Also, what about latency compared with the Xvive U4? Finally have you tried with the T9 earbuds? Wpuld it be a good combination?
Ответитьyou didnt mention the audio quality. did you notice any significant eq coloring from this unit? how about the noise floor?
ОтветитьHey there. Is anyone else having distortion issues with the Nux b7 and maybe know how to solve it? I do have it with any source, headphone and gain level. 😢
ОтветитьHi. How does this system compare with the Xvive U4? Between the two systems, which would you choose?
Ответить
