I wonder if the lens in use by the Canon 7D can be used by the Canon eos R8?

Why did we have a free EF mount, and now we see a ban with RF? Please do this and you will be king again!

Judging from the presentation this camera is targeted for teens, which are more likely to use their phones anyway.

Question: can you power the camera via the usb c port for longer zoom calls?

Canon is finally back on track with great cameras.
However, if you want to keep customers, you finally need to allow third party AF lenses.
I see a lot of people saying "Canon has great cameras but I'm going to get a Sony/Nikon because they have a certain third party lens. And with Canon I'm forced to use Canon glass."
Please Canon, come back to your senses. One reason Canon DSLRs made it to No.1 worldwide is because of great quality third party lenses like Sigma Art.

Even a cheap R10 has a joystick and this one does not! This is unacceptable , there is room for it. I use viewfinder 95% of the time for stills, so no joystick no buy.
