I love this mix except I wish it was longer. Were you trying to kill this album? Are you over it? There seems to be a lot of changing the words to die. Just an observation. I'm here for it and I can never get enough of this album serve it to me any way you want. I wore it out on my diskman in high school. Saw you just after the new years 1999 turned into 2000 I had just been in the Everglades for the 4 day phish show. Not into them much but I sold jimbe drums so made a ton of money and desided to visit some friends in philly. They had like a reggae style band. They had tickets for a reggae show and the person was really famous but I wasnt real into it. As we were leaving the giant music center had signs up to come back tomorrow to see chemical brothers. I didnt even know fat boy was opening. But I was like let's get tickets for tomorrow. One person was down and electronic music wasnt socially acceptable at the time and I had never seen a concert in a stadium like this. It's been I'm some hole in the wall or some outdoor 3 day rave and several raves that had totally been illegal and were shut down. I lost my mind there. And sure enough I was one of a few candy ravers and fat boy comes out I loose my mind because I only saw that it was chemical brothers. Then shortly after he gets started which sounded like good house he breaks out are you afraid of the cookie monster. I had grown up raving to house music in chicago I new this track and still love it. After that I had an existential moment and I was that person on the cover of that chemical brothers album. The one person standing while everyone was sitting down. I couldnt say much other than chemical brothers and fat boy hes my favorite band if you can call him that because hes 1 man. Give me some of that fat boy. I dont know if he ever played anything from his albums it was like old school house. That I knew from chicago. It would be my wish to see fat boy slim again at a huge weekend crazy ass show over seas. It was the best show I think I ever saw. Chemical brothers nailed it then ft boy slim came on and I dont think anyone noticed chemical brothers left the stage. It was amazing during a questionable time of what the future would hold with y2k happening or predicted to happen and nothing happened but I partied like it was 1999 for months. I then found out where chemical brothers was going next but fat boy didnt open. So in 2 days I was at the next show in st louis but love star domingo warped everyone's minds but no one came on after chemical brothers to bring us back to earth. And I had seen love st domingo at raves they were into the freak people out stage show with teletubbies and aliens with stap ons. Which no one there could handle. I think it broke some peoples minds. I was already up set I didnt see the same show in philly. It was so intense I needed and wanted to have the same experience
