Resignation

To RID Members

My name is Jason Farr and I am currently the RID Region I Representative.

I have decided to resign as the Region I Representative, with my last day of service to be on August 31, 2021.

As the first Filipino-American Board Member, an Asian-American interpreter where ASL is not my first language, I have appreciated the opportunity to sit among leaders in our profession. I too look forward to a time where RID’s role as a collective space for all the communities we connect with can be fully realized.

To the members of Region I, thank you for the faith you have put in me to serve as your Representative on the RID Board of Directors. Serving in this role over the past two years has taught me many valuable lessons that I will carry with me throughout the rest of my professional service as an ASL-English Interpreter.
