why is it important to make him sit and wait for the bowl, just give it already i say

He is nice in behaviour but my casper 2 months old is having very high energy when see food how to control that....if I would able control his excitement it would be easy to make him understand what he has to do

Lol. My dog will not wait at all. As soon as she hears food hit the bowl she turns into sonic the freaking hedgehog. Even tried holding the collar with my thumb but she goes insane when I do that and begins thrashing. I have to let go or she will hurt herself. Guess if you have an already behaved dog this works well but not with mine. Wont even sit when its feeding time

Doesn’t work on hyperactive pups I’m afraid. As soon as I set it down (after sitting for a good moment), he goes full forth and demolishes the food in seconds like he was starving xD Not sure how to stop something like that!

This is actually an awesome training video. I like how you increase the challenge, whereas you're setting up your dog for failure trying to get the whole behaviour in one shot.
