I do indeed get a sense of satisfaction from the fact that Young Sheldon is at it's best when completely removed from the context of being a BBT spinoff.
I still hate mini Jim Parsons, but not quite as much, and here it's only him that annoying (unlike the parent show where everyone is a problem)

Kinda funny. I liked this episode because I been cooking since I was 12, and by 17 was able unconsciously, duplicate just about anyone's family recipe, which sadly at a later date got me mostly invited to spaghetti dinners 😂. My long ago ex fiancees mom, made this fantastic garlic bread and sliced steak combination , with spiced mashed potatoes. This was shortly before the Internet, but during the BBS era which was actually the start of it all. I knew every spice, but different, which was when a friend in Ireland told me it's most likely real fresh spices, not the supermarket verity. Found a spice shop in Manhattan , which came in big glass containers. I got just about all of it right a week later. Only thing I messed up on, was the garlic and oregano spice. Was supposed to mix them in fresh turned butter, than apply it. Something I wasn't able to tell just by tasting. But still was enough for my ex fiancees mom, to suddenly have an affinity for spaghetti 😂. Least that's what we had when I was over, for a long time. 😂
