I saw the movie today, I am amazed about how good it was, I regret not going to the cinema to see it.

If you’ll let me be an oldman, it feels like the newer generation are getting usedto blandness, even enjoying it.

Just take a look at the music industry recently, bland and lacking in meaning.

Not just PiB, but also the new Top Gun movie has destroyed modern Hollywood.

When Perrito helped Puss with his trauma, it took me back to movies like the fox and the hound. Movies like that where you could really feel an understand characters emotions were something special. Something Hollywood has forgotten

The end of that panic attack scene always brings a tear to my eyes. Perrito is such a good boy!

I don't think I've ever related to anything in a film more than watching the dog pull him out of a panic attack that was about to cause full blown cardiac arrest.

I like how this sequel to a mediocre Shrek spin-off came out of nowhere and instantly became one of the most talked about movies this year

its hard to give justice to how fcking good this movie is. it feels like you are kneedeep in an adventure worth the efford, almost like raiders of the lost ark or something. but with modern pacing and multiple characters which are all good

I'm crying as I watch this I didn't realize how much I missed simple animated movies with simple plots 😭😭 Hollywood has gone to shizz so this was a breath of fresh air.

Man I keep waiting for the kids so we can watch it together but after watching this screw the kids I might just watch this by myself I've been waiting too long

The beauty of dreamworks is that sure, Most of the stuff they put out, like shark tale, sucks but every so often they make something that blows the animation industry out of the water, for example, Shrek, kung fu panda, how to train your dragon, and this. Beautiful

It's rare to hear praise on this channel. After the first minute of your review, I stopped watching and went and rented the movie. I'm glad I did. It was excellent.

If this is the kind of sequel they make for a spinoff, I am cautiously optimistic about the quality we'll see for Shrek 5.

i LITERALLY ONLY watched bc of the death, the wolf, the rest of the movie was okay but this dude was SO BADASS, way to badass for any kid that watches that, as if they'll understand 😭😭😭😭🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Just watched it today. I missed it in cinemas. I wish I hadn't.

It's also a breath of fresh air to have a villain actually just be a villain. No woe is me I'm misunderstood or tragic backstory, just a fucking villain

Another thing, is that the movie has a heavy Latin/Spanish influence with a fat guy and a black cat lady, but they make NO mention of any of this. They dont beat you over the head nor focus nor point out breadth of the characterizations. It's a great story, that HAPPENS to have diversity. It's so seamlessly integrated and well-told that I didnt even notice until I rewatched it on netflix today.

Great review for a great movie

This movie has been the best animation I've seen yet (next to megamind) and the death villain was well done. Although death is our final thing to face, it can and has been beat by Jesus Christ and that's we beat it through Him. Puss in boots is my favourite character in shrek too and here I liked the dog a little more (dogs rule).

Perrito wordlessly trying to help Puss in his panic attack was so dog- like and beautiful it choked me up a bit. He really is the goodest boy.

Death was amazing, the story was amazing. But the best was jack. What a legend.

Dude, this movie was crazy good. I had no idea there was any hype around this so it was WAY more surprising to me.

One other thing to mention, is that this movie has stunning visuals, and a great sound design. The Wolf i genuinely intimidating, and when you hear his whistle it sends chills down your spine.

Edit: I think the BIG thing that made this movie great, is that its rated PG. Not G. That allowed it to tackle some of the more adult themes in the film and not be so, for the lack of a better word, childish.
