When success leads to greed, thereby excluding those who need housing that is affordable and that would be those who need it the most. This is a bit of an elitist community even using the farm to promote a lifestyle that should be accessible to everyone. The justification dialog used in the video says our purpose is to garner big profit.

If you're in the desert ready to drop from thirst and someone offers you a bottle of water for $100, you're willing to pay that. While it may not be illegal, it's ethically and morally reprehensible to do that to someone because of their desperation.

Couldn't afford a tiny home here but was able to buy one of those hammocks for only $45,000. Of course, at that low price I didn't get the land it's on but I am renting it for only $350 a month. Winters are pretty mild in Texas, right?

The cost for these homes is maybe $125 a square foot. They're charging over 450 per square foot.

Back in the day, when I purchased my first home to live-in; that was Texas in the early 1990s, first mortgages with rates of 8 to 9% and 9% to 10% were typical. People will have to accept the possibility that we won't ever return to 3%. If sellers must sell, home prices will have to decline, and lower evaluations will follow. Pretty sure I'm not alone in my chain of thoughts.

$750 a month lot rent? I bought a house in St Louis Michigan for $73,000, my monthly cost for Utilities, taxes and insurance is less than $400 a month. Small town America is loaded with such houses for retirees.

Yes these Tiny homes are a bit pricey BUT remember, this is AUSTIN, TX ! The TECH capital of the South! The City where regular homes went from 80k to over 300k in like 3yrs so I understand.🤔

I'm not seeing much difference between this and manufactured/mobile homes. A manufactured home in my area is much cheaper. A lot of tiny homes and new construction (non-tiny) are prefab.
