In the 70s I worked at McD, the pies came out of the fryers and had to be held 90 minutes before serving so the filling would cool

The salad shakers were pretty nice, they made getting everything covered in dressing, and eating salad in the car, an easy thing. They should have expanded that menu with more varieties and dressing flavors instead of just giving up on them.

Mcdonald's didn't discontinued mc pizza and mc spaghetti, it's served at the biggest Mcdonald's in Orlando, Florida and the mc hot dogs are still served in some locations in Japan
