ОтветитьJazz-Nation Radio brachte mich zurück zu diesem Meisterwerk.

ОтветитьOne of my top fave jazz pieces! Count Basie is such a classic to behold. I'll never forget when I requested my jazz guitar instructor, Mr. Stanfill, to have his big band play this song, and they just kept it going, and even played it twice back to back, followed by the one more once, and then a one more twice, and then they just did it to do it. They knew I'd overflow inside if they played it as epicly as they have. I may have been born in the 80s, but I have a love for jazz works such as this one.
ОтветитьLa estación de radio del El carro de niko bellic me trajo aquí ✔️
ОтветитьMy middle school jazz band plays this and we’re going to play it for a concert. I play trombone and I have the solo, I’m scared.
Ответить"One more time " and the band fires back up
ОтветитьThis song speaks volumes. It sets such an atmosphere and is so classy & elegant. I love it.
ОтветитьA Mr H. Lamarr described this simply as Splendid Splendid.
ОтветитьOne of the very few 45rpm records that i owned as a kid. True music.
ОтветитьSaw him live in Chicago,Il Jackson Park back in the day. The mayor of Chicago (Jane Byrne) came on the stage after the great Count Basie took his bow and she asked the crowd to join her singing, Amazing Grace. All of a sudden a great whirlwind storm blew in from the lake and lighting frightened her pretentious ass off the stage. I thought that was funny that she ws gonna lead a park full of south siders in a gospel song. God don't like ugly. Count Basie was great in his old age and the orchestra put on a great show.
