ОтветитьNeeds a restored 4k/bluray release
ОтветитьWatch this in algebra 1, Edward James Olmos really delivered in this role
ОтветитьI HAVE dug a hole before. The dirt that came out, is positive, the hole itself is negative. I GET IT! I'm basically Stephen Hawking now.
ОтветитьWhat’s so cool not knowing the answer?
Ответить❤lmao😅😅😅😊😊😊❤❤🎉🎉
ОтветитьI remember this movie very well. I watch this movie when I was a kid in the 90s.
ОтветитьHow do I reach these keeedz…
Ответить"Cmon just Fill the hole" is wild
ОтветитьIt is not by accident that American public education sucks big green rocks.
ОтветитьThe guy with the sun glasses 🤣
ОтветитьI want to tell those dipsh!ts at school “tough guys deep fry chicken for a living” 😂😂🎉
ОтветитьYall know the story is all b.s., right?
ОтветитьOrlale net head is Filipino homes
ОтветитьBeyond being the one of the best movies ever was it was based on a True story of a man's life and his perseverance.
ОтветитьI became a Math teacher, partially, bcz of this movie. It is a hard freaking job. Am I good? Work in a charter type school; so, go figure with what type of students do I have. This past school year? Every single kid passed the state exam. The handful that didn't? Lived absent. They only showed up to test.
ОтветитьWhen the student said that 10 million people are employed and that it’s a negative number I was like I mean he is right 😂
Ответить"The sand that comes out of the hole..is a Positive, the hole is a Negative".
ОтветитьFun fact: Just the year before (1987), Edward James Olmos and Lou Diamond Phillips co-starred opposite each other in an episode of Miami Vice.
Ответить0/10 unrealistic. Any teacher says "fill the hole" in a real school and the whole classroom explodes in laughter.
Ответить😀🥹🥹😊
ОтветитьThe AP programs were doomed from the start. How many teachers fought with Escalante? They wanted the changes ended. Besides, after all these years, Garfield's surroundings are still run-down places. Would we see people running around with math books? Forget it. Just forget it! You cannot fight the system.
Ответитьvery funny lol
Ответить“Break your neck like a toothpick.” LOL. Wanna be gangsters.
Ответитьcartman from south park 😂
ОтветитьI swear I saw this movie, and the other one, Stand by Me with Morgan Freeman, more than once in a classroom in Junior/ High school. They were fine, but I always felt there were other educational setting dramas the student body missed out on such as the Principal, the Substitute(even the second one), Class of 1984 and 1999, Class of Nuke ‘em High, Summer School, etc.
ОтветитьMovie makes me cry every time, he’s really there for the kids when seemingly nobody else is, won’t let em become a lost cause .. not all hero’s wear capes
ОтветитьThis movie is the reason why I know a negative times a negative equals a positive. I did not listen to anything else when we watched this movie in school
ОтветитьSuch a simple concept will carry you long ways.
ОтветитьThey should do logarithms and not preschool math
ОтветитьI'm guessing he wants to REECH these KEEDS!
Ответить“You’re gonna let them laugh at you” hits hard

ОтветитьMen do math, a man & a woman = children, that's math. that's life, stay stupid if you will, don't grow up Peter Pan, stay lost with the other boys.
ОтветитьHow do I reach these keeeds?
ОтветитьThis is a brilliant film.
ОтветитьEscalante was on the West Coast what Joe Clark was on the East Coast: an unusual teacher that education truly needed.
ОтветитьI remember watching this in middle school. 7th grade
ОтветитьSelenas dad was Richie valens math teacher???
ОтветитьCan't believe Commander Adama was a school teacher before joing the Colonials
ОтветитьThe best casting ever for a role was lou diamond Phillips as net head
ОтветитьHe just filled the hole lol I know another way to fill a hole lol
Ответить♥️
ОтветитьToo Deep im too dumb for this
Ответитьfark imagine being a big boi like that in highschool n still dont know basic MDAS.
ОтветитьWhat is this? In Asia, we learned all these in grade 3.
ОтветитьIf math teachers around the world understood Escalante and how hey inspired and taught kids we would all benefit from it!
Ответить
