Edited for content???
ОтветитьI had the chance to read the early drafts of SW. Very different at first.
ОтветитьCrazy how the late 60's to early 70's echos today's events.
ОтветитьGreat documentary but not enough credit given to Marcia Lucas. Her editing saved the movie
ОтветитьSaving Lilith Magne❤
ОтветитьMan , after watching this yet again, i still feel so blessed to have seen Star Wars as a 7 year old in the 70's, without all the corrosive internet noise of today. MY memories are fine thanks! ❤
ОтветитьI think this is my 5th time watching this now
ОтветитьCarrie Fisher was truly amazing at acting more wise and experienced than her age was.
ОтветитьGeorge Lucas is a fraud. He took advantage of talented people and claimed credit for their work.
ОтветитьJust imagine how the documentary about the Disney era Star Wars movies will be decades from now…
ОтветитьShout out to Peter Mayhew. Seemed like such a kind, gentle giant. Rest easy, Chewie.
ОтветитьGet Cronkite off the screen, the biggest traitor in history
ОтветитьI watch this like once a month lmao .
ОтветитьHopefully, they'll put out documentaries like this one based on the prequel trilogy and the sequel trilogy..............said no one EVER!
ОтветитьThis is one of the greatest movie documentaries ever. I look forward to watching this almost as much as the actual Star Wars movies.
Ответитьспасибо!
ОтветитьThe fact that the opening credits sequence of the movies kept us from having Steven Spielberg direct Jedi is heartbreaking.
ОтветитьOne of my favorite documentaries! One really can't deny the impact Star Wars and George Lucas has had on the entire culture and film industry! Not just Star Wars, but ILM, Pixar, etc.
ОтветитьAs much as I smile watching this, I also feel profound sadness for the desicration disney has inflicted on Lucas legacy. This should be reqired viewing for anyone who ever works on star wars, from now until the end of time.
ОтветитьThis documentary is almost 20 years old!
ОтветитьI feel honored to have been alive when the original came out in 1977. Nobody then knew what a gigantic franchise it would turn into. (Before the house of mouse, that is). Lol. May the force be with you.
ОтветитьWhat we see in 'Star wars' has to be happening and has always happened out there in the universe, there's absolutely no doubt whatsoever in my mind,
We've always been at war,so the unimaginable size of our galaxy alone never mind the universe is proof enough for me that the universe is absolutely teeming with highly intelligent biological and artificial life and futuristic wars similar too and even beyond what we see in lucas's Star wars.
Thank you
ОтветитьWould Disney want to make a movie about the making of a New Hope or would they receive such backlash from their lack of passion?
ОтветитьI was born 72, watched SW at 5, cannot believe even this documentary is now nearly 20 years old!
ОтветитьThe lightsaber fight in a new hope looked like two old men arguing over a parking space.
ОтветитьSaved the Hatbox Ghost
ОтветитьHow good people can be with each other when coming together in a creative enterprise like this is really touching. What a fantastic vision that George Lucas had and how he could manage to let everyone else refine it further and bring it to life by their own expertise.
ОтветитьThis my favourite documentary about film-making, ever. Which is saying a lot because there are some great ones.
ОтветитьNotice that none of the shots about the special editions showed episode 6
ОтветитьStar Wars: gets shot in a location with extreme temperatures and the biggest local storm in half a century
The sequel: I'LL FUKIN DO IT AGAIN
Saving fanarts
ОтветитьI love it... this doccie should be what modern moviemakers should be inspired by... we need new not old stuff
ОтветитьThe Original Film was a great film in among itself, but it was The Empire Strikes Back that made Star Wars a Masterpiece.
ОтветитьNgl I learned a lot today
ОтветитьAlways love going back and watching this documentary. Can't get enough of it. It also really shows that these people understood how to plan & tell stories and not just repeat themselves or add "surprises" for the sake of adding surprises. (cough)Sequel Trilogy(cough)
ОтветитьI have such a weird nostalgia for this doc. I watched it almost as much as the OT itself. Watching this inspired me to want to make movies
Ответитьman can you imagine if Kurt Russell played Han Solo? (no MacReady in The Thing, I'm glad he didnt get the part)
ОтветитьI must have watched this documentary 100 times as a kid, I’m pretty sure (at least on a subconscious level) it’s the reason why I’m pursing a career in film and TV so I owe a it a lot
