It's illegal to use high beams with other cars around. At the same time, matte paint on other cars is hard to see at night even if the other car has their lights on.

They high beamed you probably because they thought you were going slow. Even though you were going 3 over the speed limit. I've had that done to me. If they are in such hurry, they can go around me.

I’m 31, and my driving journey just started this year. I actually did things backwards 😅 I got my car in April, was able to find affordable insurance in July and finessed the company into giving me the insurance without a license 🤭, and then I took my driver’s test in August and passed. I drove without a license for over three months. Risky but it was worth it, because I was able to teach myself without anyone nagging at me and got over my anxiety in the process as well.

Omg somebody high beamed me and my cousin one night we went to get food and we passed by a rough area on the way and whoever the person was turning wherever we turned no matter where we went and until we decided to ride on a main road with a bunch of other cars and only then the driver stop following us.

Your vestibular system is thrown off when you’re looking down or around. When you’re driving or just sitting you have a fixed point of reference-in front of you. We have liquids in our ears that are like levels for our bodies. When you’re looking down or around the liquids slosh around. More or less. If you’re looking in front of you, the liquid stays level. In dancing, when doing any type of turn multiple times, dancers are taught to spot. Pick a point on the wall or wherever and as your turning keep your gaze on that spot as long as you can and when your head turns as your body does, return your gaze to that same spot. It helps with balance. Vertigo is when liquids slosh around in inner ear.

I’m a New Yorker and got my license at 21 but didn’t get my own car until I was 34. Driving is the best thing you can do. Many of my New York friends don’t think they need to learn how to drive, but you never know where life will take you. Sidenote, being too close to the steering wheel is unsafe. I hope she finds an adjustment that works for her smaller stature.

I feel a little sick too if I text or browse in the car. If you are a passenger, it's best to sit in the front seat. If you are in the backseat, looking forward supposedly helps than looking to the side window.

I have no idea why, but more recently in my 30s, I’ve started getting nauseous when I’m in an Uber. But when my bf drives or when I’m driving, I’m totally fine. I think it’s just trusting a total stranger with your whole life that I hate 😂
