Extrinsic vs intrinsic motivation

Hi Sebastian! Thank you for another ineteresting material. Thanks to that I understand why my life is much happier at the point I am now. It means that I select much more intrinsic activities in my life than before.

From the beginning I was treating your channel as extrinsic, as something that I need to do to be preaper for the lessons.
But now I have subscribed your channel and watch it with joy and pleasure as something interessting. It helps me to understand more myself and people around me.

What for  another captivating topic on your channel! I absolutely agree with Justi regarding your channei that used to be treated from my side at the beginning in extrinsic way for purposes of the course. However, with a time I found it so fascinating and essential  for my knowledge and developent that I changed completely my approach and started to listen to it for myself with passion. To my mind I managed to acknowledge it in intrinsic way. This makes essential difference as such knowledge indeed lasts for longer and is not dependable from the progress of the course...

In my opinion the best way for achieving the best results would be to find the way how to wake up the intrinsic motivation in our employees because every task would be done with pleasure. But of course it is very difficult job due to the fact that each of us has different needs and values. What I know for sure, salary increase is only temporary solution in order to increase motivation.

It is hard to say as I am trying to find always motivation in everything what I am doing but I guess is 50/50.

I haven't mastered the skill of motivating myself yet. I mean, sometimes, I really want to do something new and a few days pass, I lost interest in them. But I agree with the idea that finding the meaning of the work and picturing the outcome help.
